The Hunter Epic Quest - Jakten på Rhokdelar

Hur man läser denna guide.

1. The party list is a party that you MUST HAVE* Party Lista: Partiet förteckning är ett parti som du måste ha *

2. These are consumables that you MUST HAVE* before the Förbrukningsmaterial Lista: De är förbrukningsvaror som du måste ha * före
kamp.

ready and pull out every stop on your first attempts alltför klar och dra ut varje anhalt på din första försök

No one can help you on any demon fight after you have engaged in combat. 1.
de-leka demonen.
Every demon has a weakness. 2.
; D
We recommend giving each demon a few tries with out using any of your 3.
Warlocks are very important because they give you healthstones. 4.
If the fight inst going well feign death and start again. 5.
Warn your party to not go near the demon. 6.

Scorpid Sting rank 4, Wingclip rang 1, Aspect i Monkey.

Vapen och rustningar

* Redskap som ökar meele attacken. Vår MMOEdge spelare används svart
Dragonscale.

varierade skada innan han träffar din is fälla.
try to kite him, försöka klämma in fler bilder först, försök inte drake honom,
hastighet. Hålla igång tills han enrages. Försök inte att göra några varierade
skador under drift. Använd inte scorpid sting innan han
enrages.
sting. Swing 3 gånger, vinge klipp, springa iväg, stick ....
How you use these depends on how much Förbrukning: Hur du använder dessa beror på hur mycket

Quest.

Before the fight Strategi: Innan kampen
After du
din is fälla.
When hennes

Men ha dem ifall du behöver dem!)

Ytterligare listobjekt:

område under kampen.
volley.

Winterspring, Artorius
Partilista:
Priest - Power Word Fortitude, Ande, Skuggor, Ta bort Magic, och Shield före dra.
Druid - Mark of the Wild

Förbrukningsmaterial Lista:
Stora Hälsa Potions

Ytterligare listobjekt:
ingen

dig.

This is a kiting fight.
If

  1. Priest or restoration specced Druid Healer: Priest eller återställande specced Druid
  2. Warrior or Paladin/druid bear Tank: Warrior eller Paladin / Druid bära
  3. Mage is the best choice followed by Warlock.

Behind Kolk is a room with a pedestal.
to be teleported to the 2nd half of Maraudon. av Celebras att teleporteras till den 2: a halvåret Maraudon.
Men du har inte spira ... än.

2. The Orange kristall väg

, get the quest [49] Legends Cavindra, ta questen [49] Legends
from her. av Maraudon från henne.

, fill up the Cerulean Vial Vyletongue korruption, fylla upp HIMMELS injektionsflaska

, you'll find the 3rd Kahn there next to a big det (39,57), hittar du den 3: e Kahn intill finns en stor
kristall.
exempel portal snabbt, zon i.

Det finns en bra karta här. Fånga den - du behöver det.

or not?

quest, you should be looking for the Vyletongue Korruption strävan bör du leta efter

Razz

Creeping Sludges come in packs of 2, 3 or 4, Info: Creeping slam i förpackningar om 2, 3 eller 4,
melees.

Let your Mage or Warlock do the initial pull with Hur: Låt Mage eller Warlock göra det ursprungliga drag med
en AOE (Blizzard, Rain of Fire till exempel). Den smygande Slam

varierade attacker).

they get low on health they can move away and wait for a heal.

So that's how you deal with Creeping Sludges. Smile

Normally, there is only 4 Creeping sludges on your way to the
larva spewer, and you should be able to get them by pairs if you pull
smart.

After you got those 4 Creeping Sludges clear, take the tunnel to
the left and you should be in the room with the Larva Spewer. Pull
the two Barbed Lashers in the way and also wait on the centaur
patrol
if you didn't catch it yet. (2 elite centaurs, which are
humanoids so they can be crowd controlled).

You'll be facing a swarm of non-elite larvas and a Larva
Spewer
. The Larva Spewer spews an elite larva and keeps
respawning it so it's useless to kill the elite larva, just let it
wander away. When the elite larva is away, pull the small larvas and
AE the hell out of them while one person (a melee preferably) goes to
the larva spewer and destroys it. (Takes a click and 5 seconds
channeling without being interrupted).

One word about AE though, if you have a Mage and if that Mage uses his/her AE effects like
Arcane Explosion in order to kill the bunch of larvas, the Mage will
take A LOT of daMage. So make it clear with your healer that
while the Mage is using AE on the larvas he needs to be perma spam
healed with fast heals and preferably shielded (with PW:S). Detta är
really essential, your healer must pay full attention, he can't be
watching TV and start healing after 30 seconds… the Mage will loose
health rapidly, so brief your healer well.

Once you got the Larva Spewer destroyed, clear your way down to
Noxxion.

Noxxion is the toughest boss of the first half of Maraudon,
but he's actually quite easy if you got a sharp Mage (or Warlock) and
a decent healer.
Here's how the fight should go:

  1. Tank charges Noxxion and everyone starts damaging him
  2. After about 10 seconds, Noxxion
will split into 8 Noxxion Spawns . Your healer (who should be
standing back) must shield the Mage/Warlock immediatly and then
focus on healing him. The Mage/Warlock should immediately start to
AE the spawns, the rest of the group must of course help with any ae
    attack they got.
  3. Once the spawns are dead, Noxxion will repear, your tank must
try to get aggro on it as best as he can, and others should use
their long cooldown daMage abilities at this point. If your group
has sufficient dps, Noxxion will die before he gets to split up a
second time. If he does split up again, well don't panic, just
repeat what you did before and clear the spawns.

Key to this fight is to make sure your healer is standing away
from Noxxion when he splits up, so as to not get the initial swarm of
elementals, and the rest of the group must get those spawns dead as
fast as possible. AEs are of course the best way.

Noxxion mostly drops nature resist gear, but if you are lucky (15%
chance) he can drop a very nice caster wand, the Noxious
Shooter
. Also some nature resist gear, for the Ahn'Qiraj
lovers.

Most importantly, don't forget to loot
the Celebrian Rod from Noxxion. Congratulations, your Scepter
of Celebras
is 1/3 complete!

4. To Razorlash (Optional)
Don't bother with Razorlash
unless you are interested in one of the following drops, it's mostly
Nature Resist gear, for those who plan to go to Ahn'Qiraj
later on, this should be interesting.

If you decide to skip Razorlash, go to the next paragraph. Om du
decide to go for Razorlash, there isn't much you need to know
besides:

If you encounter pulls consisting of 3 Constrictor Vines
and 1 Barbed Lasher , make sure you kill the Barbed lasher
first, they are really annoying with their AE knockdown ability.

Besides this, there's no real difficulty going to Razorlash, who's
also quite an easy kill. Send tank in, heal tank, dps Razorlash until
hit points=0%. That's it Razz

5. To the Violet Crystal Path
Go backtrack, zone out of the instance, go back to the fork but
this time go through the violet crystal tunnel. At the first fork go
right, you'll find the other instance portal, don't get in though
ännu. On the opposite side of the instance portal you'll see a bridge
with two blue flames, go over the bridge, after the bridge go left
and then a u-turn left again down a small slope which takes you to
another bridge (a smaller one). At the other hand of the bridge
you'll find a small shrine, and the 2nd Kahn . Kill it and loot
the Gem of the 2nd Kahn .

Before you go to the instance portal we passed on the way, kill
Shadowshard Smashers or Shadowshard Rumblers (those
rock elementals) in the violet crystal cavern until you got 10
Shadowshard Fragments
. It's a very quickly done quest as the
elementals always drop a fragment, and the whole group can loot it!

When you're done with that, zone in the instance. You should
follow the violet path (Path 2 on map)

6. To Lord Vyletongue
The way to Lord Vyletongue shouldn't be a problem. Den
hardest pulls you'll meet consist of 2 Satyrs (elite) and 4 Imps
(non-elite). Let your Warrior charge a Satyr and then your casters
should go in and AE the imps.

On your way to Lord Vyletongue, you should find the 4th Kahn. Kill
it and loot the Gem of the 4th Kahn . Open your inventory and
right click one of the gems, they will assemble into the Amulet of
Spirit
and forge the Amulet of Union. You just completed the
quest [48] The Pariah's Instructions
(and made some space in your bags by getting rid of the 5 gems).

When you are in front of Lord Vyletongue's building, don't rush in
carelessly, there are 2 stealthed satyrs guarding it's entrance, pull
them and kill them. Then the only thing you'll be facing will be Lord
Vyletongue and his two stealthed guards (those you'll have to fight
at the same time as Lord Vyletongue).

Lord Vyletongue is actually a pretty easy fight. If you got
a Warlock, banish one of the satyrs, kill the other satyr and then
kill Lord Vyletongue. If you don't have a Warlock, just kill the two
stealthed satyrs first and then deal with Lord Vyletongue.

The best way to deal with this battle is to kill the stealthed
guards first while your tank is on Lord Vyletongue. Lord Vyletongue
actually doesn't hurt that much but is annoying to kill because he
teleports about. So save him for last.

Loot the Celebrian Diamond from him, thus making your
Scepter of Celebras 2/3rd complete. Lord
Vyletongue can also drop some interesting items at times.

7. Celebras the Cursed
After Lord Vyletongue, keep going until you reach the point marked
as 'drop off' on the map. You'll have to go through
a couple more of those 'creeping sludge pulls' , but
it shouldn't be a problem for your group anymore. If you are lucky on
your way to the drop off, you might find Meshlok the Harvester ,
he is a rare spawn, he looks like a cavern lurker (those ugly treant
looking things) and he wanders in the yellow waters before the drop
off, as shown on the map. He can drop some good stuff, such as the
blue Fungus Shroud Armor .

Sadly he's not there most of the time, but anyway, time to move
on.
Go to the 'drop off' point and jump down, you might
aggro a cavern lurker when jumping down, kill it while staying close
to the waterfall. Go west while staying close to the southern wall,
you can skip several thrash pulls this way. Keep going until you see
Celebras the Cursed .

Celebras the Cursed is guarded by 3 non-elite treants, and during
the fight he will attempt to summon more treants. Thankfully Celebras
can be interrupted, counterspelled and stunned. So make sure everyone
in your group uses their spell interrupting abilities on Celebras so
he doesn't get to summon more treants, or you will be swarmed.

No matter what, ignore the treants and just kill Celebras the
Cursed as fast as possible, then kill the treants with AEs.

After Celebras is defeated, he will reappear as a non agressive
NPC named Celebras the Redeemed , talk to him, go through his
dialogue, take his quest, watch him walk to the altar and forge the
Scepter of Celebras , complete the quest and voila!

You now got your Scepter of Celebras, which will allow you in your
future Maraudon runs to skip all the previous area and start the
instance after Celebras the Cursed!

So now there is about 2-3 hours to go if you want to get all the
remaining bosses, including the most important one: Princess
Theredras
. If your group is still up for 2-3 more hours, go to
the next paragraph of the walkthrough. If not, you can get out of
maraudon and form another group and directly teleport them to the 2nd
half of Maraudon and continue on the next paragraph!

8. Earthsong Falls
This is where you end up after using the Scepter of Celebras from
the pedestal behind the 1st Kahn, or after going further past
Celebras the Cursed and jumping down the waterfalls. Follow the
yellow path from the map for now.

You'll quickly find some Thessaly Hydras roaming around the
cavern south of earthsong falls. They hit reasonably hard and have
one special ability you must be careful with, they knockback every
now and then anyone in too close range. So you want to avoid being
knocked back into more of those hydras.
Melees: always
fight so your back is facing a wall or a safe place (like the
waterfalls from where you arrived).
Casters: Fight at max
casting range so as to not get hit by the knockback.
Clear all the
Hydras on your way until you reach the tunnel to the south, and make
sure you don't skip any of those hydras, because some of them roam up
to the tunnel, you don't want them to add on you while you're already
dealing with the next pull.

The next pull consists of 3 Subterranean Diemetradons , they
are beasts so they can be sheeped or hibernated. Their special
ability is an area effect 10 seconds silence. Casters: Stay at max
casting range
.

Once you've dealth with the 3 Diemetradon, wait for the first
patrol of elementals. Elemental patrols are either composed of 2
Theradrim Guardian
or 1 Theradrim Guardian and small
elementals (non elite)
. If you got a Warlock in the group, they
can banish the elementals, making it easier. If not, you must know
that when a big elemental dies, it splits in 4 tiny elementals. What
our group usually does is kill the two big elementals and then AE the
8 tiny elementals. It works well.

After you've taken care of the 1st rock elemental patrol, go
further in and kill the next 3 pulls which consist of diemetradon
again, then go up the slope and wait for the 2nd elem patrol, kill
it. Now you have a choice, you can either decide to skip Tinkerer
Gizlock
or not. If you decide to skip Tinkerer Gizlock, go
directly to paragraph #10.

9. Tinkerer Gizlock (Optional)

If you want to kill Tinkerer Gizlock (read: if your group is
interested in one of his drops), take the tunnel to the north, the
one with snake packs called 'Deep Borer' and follow
the pink path on the map. These snakes are easy, with or without AEs.
After the first snake pull you'll be entering a larger room with a
ramp going down, try to get the rock patrol out of the way as soon as
possible, then work your way down until you end up facing a goblin
named Tinkerer Gizlock .

He is an easy fight, just make sure non-melees stay at max range
from him, he is a caster and casts some AEs. He doesn't have much HPs
for a boss, burn him down quickly. He drops decent items including a
very good caster sword.

After that, go backwards and back on the Princess path ,
until you reach your next choice. Kill Landslide or not? Om du
decide to skip Landslide, just go to the last paragraph and stay on
the princess path (yellow path on map).

10. Landslide
Go further up the 2nd part of the slope (to the south) and wait on
the 3rd elemental patrol, dispatch it. Now you should have some big
giants in sight, named Primordial Behemoth . Go over the bridge
and kill the first one if he is alone, if not wait for the behemoth
patrol to wander off, nothing much to say about these giants besides
they hit rather hard.
About the Primordial Behemoth patrol, you
should lookout for it but this giant walks really slow, so you should
see it coming from afar and be able to pull it solo. After having
killed the first giant after the bridge, you can decide either to
skip Landslide or to go directly for the princess. If you decide to
skip Landslide (nobody in your group wants any of his drops), skip
the following and go directly to paragraph #11.

If you do want to kill Landslide, follow the green path from the
map, work your way up the slope. Your last pull before Landslide will
be 2 giants at the same time, we strongly advise that you assign one
tank to each giant before engaging (your secondary tank can be a ,
paladin, druid, or even a Warlock/hunter pet, but just make sure the
giant won't be on the loose).

After that you'll be facing Landslide, the giant boss. He hits
hard, has a lot of HPs, and has two abilities you must know of:

  1. 1. He knockbacks his main
target (the person on top of his aggro list, most likely your tank)
far away. So your tank must position himself with his back to a
wall, that way he won't get punted far away and lose aggro.
  2. 2. He does a wide area warstomp , which stuns everyone
for a painful 5 seconds. Casters should try to fight Landslide at
max range to avoid the stun. Also, make sure to never let your tank
go low on health, because if you get stunned at that moment, odds
are your tank will die during the 5 sec stun.

Everyone must make sure to control their daMage output at the
start to let the tank get sufficient time to build a solid aggro.
After that they can go all out. With that in mind, Landslide should
be easy. He also drops some nice items.

11. Princess Theradras and Rotgrip
Go towards Princess Theradras , follow the yellow path. Pull
the 4 diemetradons and kill them, then go further in and you'll be
entering an open area called 'Zaetar's Grave' . Wait
for the rock elemental patrol and kill it. Then you have to start
clearing your way through pairs of giants. You can skip the first 2
behemoths to the left, all the others you will have to kill on your
way down the slope leading to Princess Theradras. Shortly you should
be facing the charming Princess Theradras. Here is how you kill her:

Abilities:

  1. Every 20 seconds or so she does a
point blank area effect with several waves that knockback
anyone in melee range and also daMage them.
  2. Every now and then she will
randomly cast fear on people, it can't be dispelled, but
undeads can use will of the forsaken, Warriors in berserker stance
(not recommended if you are tanking though) can use berserker rage.
If you got a dwarf priest with you, he can use fear ward on your
    tank, it works!
  3. Every now and then she'll throw a rock randomly at a ranged
    attacker, disrupting their casting.

How to:

  1. Melee classes are heavily crippled
in this battle, she keeps pushing them back and damaging them with
her ae, so you should only let pure melee classes (Tank, Rogue) in
melee. Paladins or Shamans will be more useful standing back and
healing or nuking, unless they are the main tank of your group of
    course.
  2. Melees: when she uses her AE knockback waves, don't even
try to fight the knockback and stay close to her, just let her push
you away and wait till she's done farting before you go in again.
  3. Casters: stay at long range, you should never get hit
    by her AE knockback.

Anyway, it is a slow and long fight, probably the hardest battle
in Maraudon, but really manageable if you follow the above.
Congratulations on killing Princess Theradras and completing the
main maraudon quest
! The princess also drops nice things, always
2 blue items out of 7.

After the princess is dead, a ghost centaur named Zaetar's
Spirit
should appear in the middle of the Princess' lair. Talk to
it and get the quest [51] Seed of Life
(Dungeon)
, which you can turn in at Moonglade for extra XP
and 1gold 50silver.

Don't go yet, there is still one boss to get, and it's very close.
Buff everyone with underwater breathing if you got a Warlock in your
group, if you don't it's ok, it will just be less comfortable.

Go to the northern waterfall directly next to the princess lair,
look down from there before you jump, make sure you don't see a huge
crocodile named Rotgrip swimming there before you jump. If the
croco is not around, have your whole group jump down there and stay
close to the waterfall. Wait for Rotgrip to come close and pull it to
this corner. He is an easy fight, he just hits hard and is
underwater, no difficulty besides this. Rotgrip is worth killing
because he can drop some great items, including Gatorbite
Axe
, Albino Crocscale Boots ,
and/or Rotgrip Mantle .

That was all the bosses! Congratulations on clearing Maraudon
completely. The only way out is to use Hearthstone or ask a Mage for
a portal, or to suicide! We hope you enjoyed this guide and the
maraudon instance.

Note: For the AQ20 / AQ40 nature
resist gear farmers, when you go as deep as Landslide or Princess
Theradras, the fastest way to go out and reset the instance is:

  1. Go naked
  2. Suicide
  3. Run back in as ghost and zone out, reset the instance

Congratulations, you've made it through the whole guide. Smile

This guide is for any enchanters that can disenchant to large brilliant shards and can stealth. In my experience a stealthed enchanter is by far the most profitable. I am a 70 Rogue specced 21/0/40 and in pvp blues and instance blues. I by no means have uber gear so Id imagine a well geared rogue or druid could take this guide a little further. I am using the follow guide to work on my epic flying mount and to stock pile gold . I am over 3k as I post this with hopes to having my mount by the end of this weekend. I do apologize if the following has been posted

What you will need

Rogue will need the shadowforge key or lockpicking high enough to get through the doors.

Druid will of course need the key, its pretty easy to get at 70 though.

First part

Start off by entering the instance and working your way through the door to the left. Continue on to the next gate and enter through it. Come up to the East Garrison door and go through it (do not unlock the locking mechanism in the back of this room just yet) Continue up the ramp and make your way through the arena. Take the other exit out of the arena and go down the right side of the hall until you get to the Monument of Franclorn Forgewright. There you will see an rare elite (always up but still has the rare symbol) named Pyromancer Loregrain. These are easy kills, at 70 you pretty much resist everything, just make sure his 2 buddies don t have a chance to run or you can aggro the group behind you. Do not DE his blue item, it will only DE into a small brilliant shard and his staff sells for a little over 4g to a vendor and the others sell for around 2. The only reason you kill him is he has a 12% chance to drop the fiery weapon enchant recipe which sells for 35-40g on my server.

Second Part

The next part we will be heading to the Vault. This is the room where the coffer keys can be used and the dark coffer key. So head back down the hall past where you cam out of the arena, cross the bridge and go through the domicle. Continue out of that and go around to you get to the vault. There you will see Warder Stilgiss and his demon Verek guarding the coffer room. These are very easy kills also, just kill Warder and then take out the demon. I have never aggroed the room before them and I always kill them right where they stand. His demon has a chance to drop his collar (see it maybe 1 out of every 4 runs) DE this every time, turns into a large brilliant shard. DE everything Warder Stilgiss drops except Arbiters Blade (it will DE into a small brilliant shard and sells more to vendor that shard is worth).

Optional

Dark Keeper locations. There is only 3 places I will go after the dark keeper. To spawn him look at the portrait in the first room where you just killed Warder Stilgiss, read it and it will tell you where the Keeper just spawned. I have highlighted on the map where 3 spawns are that I kill him (feel free to try the others but when he spawns in the bar or in west garrison I always end up dying because of adds and its not worth my time) if you get a good spawn then approach him, he is again a very easy kill, I kill him and his 2 guards in hopes of getting a regular coffer key also. Loot him and return to the vault and open the middle lock in the back of the room. Usuall get a green that will DE into illusion dust or greater nether essence.

Third Part

This part we will be going after Lord Incendius. Go right out of the vault you were just in and he is right below you. I go to where you came out of the Domicile and just jump down. This guy can catch you off guard if you don t position yourself. He can knock you off the platform and into the lava so just make sure you are always in a position that you have room behind you. Other than that he is pretty simple. Rogues cloak of shadows is useful here. DE every blue he drops, they are all Large Brilliant Shards. Exit out the SW side down the Dark Iron Highway until you get back to the gates you unlocked when you first enetered (this is why you didn t unlock that locking mechanism at first so the door on the high way would remain open.

Fourth Part

The last two parts will be in the Bar. The next go we will go after is Phalanx. He is the Golem in the corner of the bar. You have to do a little quest event to make him aggressive and killable. On the upper side of the bar is a little goblin named Plugger Spazzring. Buy all the dark ale mug (note he sometimes has a rare leather working pattern that sells decent on AH). Directly across from him is a dwarf (can t remember his name but he is green to you, do not talk to NPCs that are yellow to ya) After you give him a few things of the ale he will start off a mini even where he looks for more ale in the kegs, hill will damage the last keg and this will trigger Phalanx. I pull him to the corner he came from and kill him there, keep your back to the wall cause he knocks you back also. DE any blue he drops into a large brilliant shard..

Fifth Part

The last person you will kill for a shard is Hurley Blackbreath. Go to the lower section of the bar in to the far room where no one is there. There is 3 clickable kegs all bunched together. Click each one. On the last keg Hurley and his gang will come running in. they will not aggro you. He has 3 guards with him. As a rogue, just sap one guard kill Hurley, loot and vanish. If youre a druid im guessing you could kill all with ease with your heals.

More Options

If you in need of a 16 slot bag or ammo pouch you can also kill Ribbly Screwspigot in the bar, he is just outside where you just killed Hurley, just talk to him and run back into where you killed Hurley. The only thing is all his bags are unique so you can only have one of each.

Repeat

Pretty sure there is more ways to make gold in here but I have found this to work best for me. I can do this run over and over never worrying about being in an instance too many times cause it takes almost 20 min per run. In these 20 min runs I get the following

3-5 Large Brilliant Shards - 7 gold each on my server

Fiery Enchant recipe 35 gold on my server (remember this is just a 12% chance but I have seen it drop up to 3 times in a row)

Around 5-10g (depending on if I get things I don t wanna DE) in vendor blues and and coin from NPCs

This is a chance for almost 80g in 20-30 minutes (all depending on what things sell for on your server)

Also note I know there is other things I can kill before all this but Im in it for Large Brilliant Shards and nother before this except the arena event (which kills my speed of this) drops anything that DE's to Large Brilliant Shards.

I would like to get better gear and try to go deeper in this where I can kill General Angorforge (I get him to 20% and he calls his buddies lol) and maybe the chest event.

Please don t go bragging to everyone if you start profiting off this. Gold is so hard to make and this works really well, and we don't want to see it changed.

=============

Profession - powerleveling 300/300 -

Obviously everyone has a different way to do it and mine is not the best,
or the most efficient way to do it. But here are a few things we did to level :

1a. For speed leveling - you should not be afraid to fight when you are in
low hp/mana. we kept pulling on our Shaman until we was down to about 10%
hp and 10% Mana. That cuts down on med time.

1b. The key is to grind on mobs that are 1 or 2 lvls above you and
complete quests while you are doing this

2. You're going spend tons on food/water/bandages

3a. for casters, buy good wands every few levels. Get cookie's stirring rod
from VC and buy the rest as you go. Maybe a new wand every 5-7 levels.
That way you can cut down on med time by wanding the mob when it is at
10% health so you can naturally start to regen mana

3b. for melee - bandage ,bandage, bandage and buy good weapons every
few levels

3c. if you can afford it, pimp yourself out (caster get +dmg gear, melee
get +attack power gear) the harder you hit, the faster things die, the
faster you get xp. Even that means you spend more time sitting down
eating/drinking (that only takes 15 seconds max)

Here s what to do:

The Times listed are w/out rested XP

Human/Gnome/Dwarf -
Nooby zone (1 - 6.5) - yes, get to 6.5 … that means killing just a handful
of extra mobs. If you are just grinding and doing quests this should take
you 1hr

** now go to IF or SW and pick up skinning (this will help offset the costs
of buying your gear and buying food/water) Highly recommend that you
spend 20g and get yourself 4 runecloth bags. In order to power level
yourself you can't be going back to town to sell things every hour

Outside IF/SW (6.5-11) - pick one (don't go between SW and IF cuz that
takes way too long) you're going to need to grind a bit but this will take
you 3-4 hrs of played time (again, no chatting is involved here … typing
just slows down your DPS and slows down your leveling) ^_^

Loch Modan (11-13) - the first few quests here are easy to do. Kill spiders,
bears, boars. Kill little kobolds. Kill trolls. You can skin and get cloth to
make bandages. 2 hrs played

Westfall (13-16) - Complete all the level 12 quests and then grind on the
Harvest Golem/Watchers near the north part of Westfall. There should be 3
farms that have level 11-13 mobs. Then grind on the higher level ones on
the West until you hit 16. While you're running around the farms, grinding
on these mobs - complete the other westfall quests. 4 hrs played

*be sure to do the defias brother hood quests

*don't forget to pick up the quest 'dry times' and start buying the alcohol
form the different places

Loch Modan (16-1) Cool - come back here and do a few more quests. Du
should be able to complete them quickly since you are such high level.
Don't forget the quests in the digging site to the east and the other building
all the way in the southeast corner (i forget the name of it) 4 hrs played

Redridge (18-20) quest, quest, quest and grind on Murlocks or the
Kobolds (forget what they are called but they are all over the mountains to
the north) 4 hrs played

**DING ** have someone run you through the Deadmines 2-4 times (until
you get some nice gear) 2 hrs played

You should now be at 1 day /played

Redridge (21-23) - quest and grind on Orcs on the north east part of RR 4
hrs played

WETLANDS (23-25) - quest/grind on murlocks, crocs, the undead pirates,
the invisible dudes that walk in the river, the gnolls, etc (do not do the Orc
quests yet) 4 hrs played

Darkshire (25-2) Quest, quest, quest - the wolf guys, the comb quest,
the Undeads in the cemetery, etc, etc 5 hrs played

**find a kind soul to take you to the stockades (do all the quests there in
one run, not worth it to get gear)

Wetlands (28.5-30) - do the orc quests, raptor quests and then grind it out
on either one (Orcs if you need bandages, raptors if you want skins) 5 hrs
played

*if you can, find someone to help you with the last few Darkshire quest
(morbent fel, etc)

Hillsbrad Foothills (30-31.5) - these quest are probably green to you (if
they are grey and not part of a chain, skip them). You should be able to
kill Nagas and Murlocks on the south and get good xp. You can also do the
defias quests really quick. 2 hrs played

Alterac Mountains (31.5-33) - grind in the cave to the north (on the way to
AV) and then yetis … just grind 6 hrs played

**DING you should be at 2 days /played** (maybe a little more if you
have been chatting it up

Arathi Highlands (33-35) - some quick quests here - you can grind on Orcs
or trolls

**at this time, have someone take you to SM and do some quests there. Om
they can, run you through until you get some nice gear (class dependent
obviously) and you should be able to get a level or two from there.
Ideally, they would run you through the whole thing 4 hrs played -
obviously you may not find someone to dedicate 4 hrs for you, so go to
STV and start your quests there too …

STV (34-40) - let us break this one down for you

**the key here is to pick up as many quests as you can, and complete
them all before turning them in. STV is FULL of chain quests. Kurzen camp
quests, Mastery quests, Troll tribes, etc**

(34-35) your first set of quests should get you a full level. Grind as much
as you can in the kurzen camp since its usually safe from ganking

(35-37) troll tribes (getting the tablets) and 2nd series of masteries and
the geologist co quests.

**@ 37 go to STV and pick up quests there

(37-40) singing blue shards, apes, raptors, tigers, panthers and troll
tooths? or whatever it is you need to collect from trolls. 20 hrs played

**if at any point you get tired of STV, go back to Arathi or if you really
hate grinding, go to Desolace or even Badlands

**or if you find someone nice, they'll take you to gnomeragan **

**DING - go buy your mount** /played 3 days

***We'll stop posting how much time it should take you so no one will get
depressed and hurt themselves but it slows down a lot from this point on,
now you really need to start buying that +dmg +ap gear***

(from this point on 40-50 should be about 4 hrs per level on average and
50-60 should be about 5-6 hrs per level)

(plus the levels specified from this point on are more strict, for example - I
wouldn't recommend going to sorrow hill before you are 50 cuz its not
efficient - same thing for Un'Goro before level 52)

Alterac Mountains (40-42) - Ogres (non elite) + humanoids (quest/grind)

Tanaris (42-45) - wasteland wanderers (grind, grind, grind) - get water
pouches and just grind. Trust us on this, you need to start grinding some
or you'll run out of quests and get stuckin between zones)

STV (45-46.5) - finish the quests here (pirates, Zanzil secret/Nagas, apes,
etc)

Tanaris (46.5-4Cool - Ogres (again grind, grind, grind) - you can pick up
quests in Tanaris and complete them if you want, but its faster to just grind
right now

Searing Gorge (48-50) - quests are fast and grinding is easy. Don't bother
getting the searing gorge key … you'll never run through that door …

Western Plaguelands (50-51) - sorrow hill - Chillwind point.

**I know this place is super camped so if you can't find pulls there, go
back to Searing Gorge or Feralas (there is a repeatable quest there on the
shore (right after you take the boat the little goblin there gives it)) or
even Azshara (but watch out for the farmers there!)

Felwood (51-52) - some quests, some grinding. Don't bother doing the
quests in the north by the cave that leads to Winterspring. Just do
whatever is green/yellow so that would be the first Furlbog quests +
Jadenar + whatever other quests you pick up from the south part of
Felwood

Un'Goro (52-54) - Bring your Mithril casing! (2 escort quests + lots of kill
quests + some travel back and forth between here and Tanaris)

**its important that you grind whatever part of your level is left

WPL (54-55) - finish quests here (cauldrons + scarlet + whatever else you
can find) and then grind

Azshara - Felwood (55-56) - GRIND! or do whatever quests you still
haven't done here (you could grind on Ogres in Burning Steppes too)

Winterspring (56-57) - quests + grinding (you might want to go to
Darnassus first, in the Therussian village you can pick up a quest for
Azshara and another for Winterspring)

Burning Steppes (57-5Cool - quests + grinding on Ogres/Orcs/dragons

EPL (58-59) - lots of good quests here, just that you run into the occasional
horde party going to Strath

Silithus (59-60) - tons of good quests, just hard to do cuz of the entire
uber guild going to farm the texts and AQ

**again, this guide shows a lot of grinding but its helpful if you stay in one
zone until you level.**

===================

Ok after making Instances for XP, I decided that I should make another way to lvl up alternate to questing/grinding. Now many people will say this is common knowledge but this way it really is!

The basic idea here is to start going to BG at 11–

Get in queue for any BG you want.

Go out and just grind, eventually you will be accepted into the BG you got in queue for

Kill, Kill, Kill in the BG

Now when it is over enter queue again

Go out and grind again while you wait

This is an ongoing cycle

So what just happened? Well basically you're getting fast steady xp by grinding and scattered in there is a number of BGs, Xp & Honor all in one! If you level up this way you can also save up the winning marks (and losing ones now) and turn them in to a battlemaster with the quest for them, getting extra xp and honor, rep.

By level 40 or so you will already be heavy into the PVP ranks, and you can easily purchase the PVP rewards when you get in your 50s.

This is not the fastest way to level by far , although the combination of turning in marks of winning or losing, grinding, soaring through the ranks, and getting tons of rep make this a nice little strat.

If you have a twink caster you are probably going to stay at that level for quite while. If you level your engineering up to the point where you can wear the best googles you can get, put them on, then drop engineering, the googles will stay on you until you take them off. So you could then pick up a different skill.

~Priest's Outland Horde Guide~

Inledning:
Welcome to part two of the guide! The game has changed quite a bit since BC, so hopefully this will help you understand the fastest way to level. There are hundreds of quests in the Outland, but only 10 levels of clvl advancement. There isn't one perfect path to take due to the fact that you'll be the same level for long chunks of time. Considering that, this guide will be a little different than the 1-60 guide that preceded it. I won't list the perfect exact path, but instead a general path that will help you immensly (or it did me anyway).

Quest hub paths to take will be listed, along with any information necessary pertaining to that particular quest, and the order in which to do it/them. There won't be tons of really obvious information or force you to take a single path the whole time. Read all the descriptions carefully, because you'll be able to figure out where and how the quest is finished. I'll list some extra info if I feel it's necessary, since I write this guide the first time I played through the Outland. The guide is tweaked for fast leveling since that's why I enjoy most with this game. If you're looking for a rich, rewarding experience, this probably isn't the guide for you. ;-) I've leveled three chars up to level 70 in beta alone, and usually you're looking at the same amount of time for 60-70 that you spent on 1-50. So…get some coffee. I haven't come up with a set-in-stone speed run yet, as it takes months and months of playing, but this should help you out immensly.
The reason for no step-by-step is that TBC will mature over time, but until it has, and I've done several speed runs through it and feel comfortable with a set-in-stone pattern I can then make a step-by-step guide, you are just going to have to settle with this 'reference' guide for now, which should still be VERY helpful.

Quest patterns are pretty much the same no matter what class you are.

If you come across any quest that you don't know where or how to do it, simply look it up at either wow .allakhazam.com or
Thottbot.com, they will tell you everything about the quest.

Outland 60-70
01) To enter the Outland, you must have the Burning Crusade Expansion pack, otherwise you are not allowed to enter it. To enter it, you have to go through Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands, from there you can enter the Outland.
02) There is a quest giver (Warlord Dar'toon) right before you enter the dark portal that gives 'Through the Dark Portal' … accept it.
03) Then enter the Dark Portal.
04) Before I get started, I want you to get a bit familiar of what is in store for you, as far as the paths you are going to take. Check the map out to the right for a basic guideline on the leveling paths you are going to take. Here is a quick and basic rundown of zones/levels:
05) 60-61 Hellfire Peninsula
06) 61-63 Zangarmarsh
07) 63-65 Terokkar Forest
08) 65-67 Nagrand
09) 67-68 Blade's Edge Mountains
10) 68-69 Netherstorm
11) 69-70 Shadowmoon Valley
12) For reference, you can check out Blizzard's overview of Outland right here, you can get a good idea of where all the cities and dungeons are with this map. Dark Portal
01) First thing you'll notice in front of you is a bunch of HUGE demons killing a bunch of NPCs, no need to worry about it now.
02) Go down the steps and turn in 'Through the Dark Portal' … accept 'Arrival in Outland'
03) Go turn in 'Arrival in Outland' … accept 'Journey to Thrallmar'
04) Then Fly to Thrallmar…
05) Make Thrallmar your home.
06) Turn in 'Journey to Thrallmar' … accept 'Report to Nazgrel'
07) Go turn in 'Report to Nazgrel' … accept 'Eradicate the Burning Legion'
