Ok here's a way to pvp enable the opposite faction if you want. Click on the person you want to enable, then type /duel. While you're dueling type /concede or /forfeit right before they hit you and they'll be pvp enabled and you can kill them.

Rule #1. Everyone on offense is a bad idea, Defend, Defend, Defend, and
Defend. If you dont defend the points you capture, you will lose. Make
sure SOMEONE stays behind to Defend the flag, or at least to
scout/notify everyone that there is Incoming at that point.

Rule #2. Don't fight the Zerg. If you see 10 enemies in front of you,
chances are there are fewer of them somewhere else. Go around the Zerg
and capture points with weaker defense.

Rule #2b. Don't become the Zerg. If you look at your map and you are
one of 10 or so dots at one point, leave. If too many people are at one
place, that means other places aren't being defended or assaulted.

Rule #3. Do the role you were meant to do. Healers, find a DPS class,
communicate and coordinate with that DPS class, follow him around, buff
him and heal him. A great deal of losing battles are due to the Healer
classes not doing their job. DPS classes, your JOB is to protect the
healer. When you find a healer, assure him you are going to watch out
for him and keep enemys off of him as much as possible.

Rule #4. Get your target priority straight. Target Healers first, this
means attack and kill healer type classes first, and then DPS classes.
If you attack a warrior with a priest behind him, you have already
lost. Even though a healer type may not die as quick as a DPS type, at
least that healer will be forced to heal himself rather than someone
else.

Rule #4b. Do your best to crowd control DPS classes via Sheep, Poly,
Sap, Fear, Seduce, Root, etc, to make killing the healer easier.

Rule #5. TAP! Tap tap tap tap. Tapping the flag is what captures
points! Even in battle, you can click the flag and sometimes no one
will notice you. If you don't tap a captured point, and continue
fighting the enemy, they will shortly respawn and you will have to
fight them again, capturing this point ensures they will not respawn
there.

Rule #5b. Interrupt the enemy tapping. This means if you see someone
trying to battle tap, stop whatever you are doing and hit that person
to interrupt their clicking of the flag. If you have to, bring the
fight to the flag, this will ensure you better view of the flag to make
sure no one taps it.

Rule #5c. Don't fall for the bait tap. Often the enemy will draw you
away from the flag only to have their friend tap it behind you.

Rule #6. Use the map! The map is your friend (M is the default map
key). Watching the map will help you see which points need
reinforcement and which points need defending. A useful tip is you can
right click the red icon on your minimap to bring up a moveable
minimap, so that you can quickly see the contest state of every point.

Create a Human character on Agamaggan named Joeschmoe. (This is a server you do NOT want to play on)

Create a Human character on Archimonde named Joeschmoe then delete him. (This is the server you WANT to play on). Then on the same server make a char from the other faction.. lets say an Undead.

Open a ticket, tell the GM you deleted the wrong char, that you really wanted to delete the char on the Agamaggan server. You will get your char back on Archimonde and voila you will have your Alliance and Horde character on the same server. This exploit can also be used to change your char. names.

This will not last long because most likely the GM's are not getting into that much detail when they restore a character. But as this gets more widely known and used they will pass a MEMO around making sure that GM's check the other characters on the server before restoring. So use it quick. Enjoy.

To kick another faction out of Arathi basin you must be a mage and have gnomish engineering. put on a gnomish mind control helm and mind control an opposing faction at their beginning point. then run into their portal and blink pass the invisible wall. then when it breaks blink out and they are stuck for the whole game

Darnassus Reputation Guide

Rewards

  1. At Honored you receive a 10%
decrease on vendor purchases and repairs.
  2. At Exalted you can purchase a tiger mount and the Tiger
Riding Skill. This is not race restricted, meaning that any
alliance race can purchase a tiger mount if they are Exalted with
    Darnassus.

How to raise your reputation

  1. First of all go to the AH and purchase (or farm them
    yourself)
    - 3 stacks of Wool Cloth
    - 3 stacks of Mageweave Cloth
    - 3 stacks of Silk Cloth

  2. Go to Darnassus and seek Raedon Darkstriker, the Darnassus
Cloth Quartermaster, located in the tailoring shelter in the
Craftman's Terrace. The items that you have bought will allow you to
    do the following three quests

    - A Donation of Wool
    - A Donation of Mageweave
    - A Donation of Silk

This should bring you 150 reputation for each quest=450
reputation in total. You also unlock the quest Additional
    Runecloth
, which is a repeatable level 50+ quest, allowing
you to raise your faction as high as Exalted.
  3. (If you have already completed the Un'Goro Soil quest line,
please proceed to the next step). Get the Un'Goro
    Soil
quest from ArchDruid Fangal Staghelm. This
quest line provides the character with an Evergreen Pouch.
With it you can combine 2 Un'Goro Soil
and 1 Thaenis Seed. This will yield
either 1-4 Morrowgrain or a random
herb. The pouch has a 10 minute cooldown.
  4. Go to Un'Goro and gather Un'Goro Soil. Whenever your pouch
is up combine the soil with the Thaenis Seeds. You will need about
60 Un'Goro Soil to be on the safe side as the combine doesn't always
yield Morrowgrain. At some point you will be out of Thaenis Seed,
when that happens go back to Darnassus and turn in Un'Goro Soil,
you'll be able to purchase more Thaenis Seeds from Arch Druid
Fandral, once this quest is complete. (For this turn in you'll need
    20 Morrowgrain)

  5. After doing the remaining combines, complete the quest
    Morrowgrain Research
at Arch Druid Fandral (requires 10 Morrowgrain). Make sure
that you have 10 more Morrowgrain
in your bags and go to
Feathermoon Stronghold. Get the quest The
    Mystery of Morrowgrain
    and complete it. Morrowgrain
may now be turned in to Quintis Jonespyre, Feathermoon, or
Mathrengyl Bearwalker, Darnassus, yielding 25 reputation per 5
    Morrowgrain.
(from level 47-50… that means 5 reputation at
    level 60)
  6. Empty your bags completely and purchase a bunch of Thaenis
Seeds (100 or so to start off, you'll probably need more later on).
Go to Un'Goro Crater and gather as much Un Goro Soil as you can
carry… however still leave one or two backpacks empty and go to
Azshara. Remember from now on, whenever your pouch is up do a
morrowgrain combine… destroy the trash herbs that you get or sell
them, as you wish, but make yourself a macro with the pouch to be
ready to do a combine every ten minutes.

Now go to the 48-51 Bloodelves in Azshara.

  • Any other Runecloth farming spot works for this too, but we
chose the Bloodelves because this spot is often deserted and the
mobs have fairly low HPs. Also you can take a flight from Azshara to
Darnassus to do turn ins once you have no Un'Goro Soils anymore (or once your bags are full). Kill those Bloodelves over and over until
you either fill up your inventory with Runecloth or until you have
    no Un'Goro Soil anymore.
    Note:
If you sell the junk you get here or if you destroy it is up to
you… selling it will of course slow you down but might bring you
very nice cash in the long run.

  • Once you have your backpacks filled up take a flight to
Darnassus and turn in the Morrowgrain and the Runecloth that you
    have

5 x Morrowgrain=25 Reputation (at Mathrengyl Bearwalker)
(Note that you get 25 reputation at level 47-55, after that the
reputation you get decreases by 5 per level you take, that means
you'll get 5 reputation for a morrowgrain turn in at level 60
)
20
x Runecloth (one stack)=50 Reputation
(at Raedon Darkstriker)

Reputation Upgrade

  1. Neutral to Friendly
    3,000 points
  2. Friendly to Honored
    6,000 points
  3. Honored to Revered
    12,000 points
  4. Revered to Exalted 21,000 points

  • If need be you can stock up on Thaenis Seeds and go back to
Azshara or get more Un'Goro soil before going there. Rinse and
repeat until you hit the desired reputation rank.

  • Note: There is another repeatable quest for getting Darnassus faction. This might be interesting for skinners… killing Rage Scar Yetis in northern Feralas, will occasional bring you a Pristine Yeti Hide. Right click it to start a quest that you can turn in at Pratt McGrubben in Feathermoon for 50 reputation. You can only carry one
of these hides in your inventory at a time. This spot might be
crowded and the drop rate might be too low… combine this with the
running between the farming spot and Feathermoon for each turn in
and you will come to the conclusion that Runecloth farming might be
    easier to accomplish, but
theoretically both can be combined with the Morrowgrain turn-ins to
    optimally raise faction.

Until all 255 characters are used. Then keep spamming the macro while walking forward and you will freeze up but still continue to function to everyone else. Everyone else will see you moving forward but be unable to attack you. Once you stop spamming the macro you will warp back to where you were.

This is nice for healer classes as you can heal and release the macro to go back where you first did the macro.

1-60 powerleveling guide (Warcraft)

Level 1-12:
- Newbie Zone :: You may have to leave at level 11.

Level 12-20:
- Westfall [Sentinel Hill, Westfall Lighthouse]
- Loch Modan [Thelsamar, Farstrider's Lodge, Stonewrought Dam]
- Darkshore [Auberdine]
- Elite Area: Mo'grosh mound (Loch Modan)
- Instance: Deadmines

Complete the easiest quests in the first area that you go to (Night Elves should visit Darkshore first, Dwarves/Gnomes should visit Loch Modan first, Humans should visit Westfall first.) Move onto the next zone, and do the same, but this time you can complete more of the zone. Leave the most difficult, unless you can get a group for them - don't waste too much time on it, though. Move onto the last zone and complete all, or nearly all of the quests available in that zone. By this time, you should be about level 17-18. Go back to the first zone, and complete the rest of the quests there.

Typically, my 'first zone' is Westfall, in which case you can go back when you are done with both Loch Modan and Darkshore, and finish the Van Cleef line of quests and be at a good level to run the instance.

Level 20-22:
- Redridge Mountains [Lakeshire, Tower of Azora in Elwynn]

Again, do the easy quests in Redridge, which should take you up to level 21 or 22. Skip the more difficult quests unless you have a group for them. I'd skip the entire Stonewatch Keep area of quests just simply because that entire area itself is crap.

Level 22-30:
- Redridge Mountains [Lakeshire, Tower of Azora in Elwynn]
- Duskwood [Darkshire, Sven's Camp, Abercrombie]
- Wetlands [Menethil Harbor, Greenwarden, N. Loch Modan (The Algaz Gauntlet)]
- Ashenvale [Astranaar ?]
- Stonetalon Mountains [?]
- Elite Area: Dun Modr (Wetlands)
- Instance: The Stockades
- Instance: Shadowfang Keep
- Instance: Blackfathom Deeps
- Happy Loot: Naraxis' Fang (Duskwood)
- Happy Loot: Tiny Crimson Whelpling (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [26]: Dragonmaw Encampment (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [26]: Whelgar's Excavation Site (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [28]: Rotting Orchard (Duskwood)
- Grind Area [28]: Raven Hill Cemetary (Duskwood)
- Grind Area [29]: Vul'Gol Ogre Mound (Duskwood)

Preparation: Purchase Bronze Tube.

Start at either Duskwood or Wetlands. This is where 'quest stacking' can come in really handy if you want to be efficient. There are many, many quests that send you to the same areas, and if you get all of the quests at once, you can knock all of them out without having to run back and forth. Considering Wetlands and Duskwood are fairly bad for having their towns on one side of the map and the quest mobs/areas on the other side, this saves a lot of time. A lot of these are parts of quest chains, so honestly it's hard to know if you don't have prior knowledge or do a lot of quest research beforehand - so don't worry about it too much, but try to be as efficient as you can. Once you finish one of the two new areas, you should be about level 25 and can go finish the harder parts of Redridge, and then finish the last zone.

Note for Stockades : There are 6 quests you can obtain for this instance. Lakeshire, Darkshire, Wetlands, Van Cleef note continuation (Bazil Thredd), and two from Stormwind.

Level 31-37:
- Stranglethorn Vale [Rebel Camp, Nesingwary's Expedition, Booty Bay]
- Hillsbrad Foothills [Southshore]
- Arathi Highlands [Refuge Pointe]
- Desolace [32]
- Thousand Needles [31]
- Instance: Gnomeregan
- Happy Loot: Howling Blade (Skhowl, Alterac Mountains)
- Happy Loot: Toxic Revenger (Gnomeregan)
- Happy Loot: Tiny Emerald Whelpling (Swamp of Sorrows)
- Grind Area [31]: Kurzen Encampment (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [33]: Stranglethorn Raptors (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [33]: Growless Cave (Alterac Mountains)
- Grind Area [34]: Gallow's Corner (Crushridge Ogres - Altarac Mountains)
- Grind Area [36]: Venture Co. Base Camp (Lake Nazferiti - Stranglethorn Vale)

Preparation: Purchase all 15 pages of The Green Hills of Stranglethorn, 4 Bloodstone Ore.

Start at Stranglethorn Vale. Quest stacking here is also godly, since you don't want to have to run all the way to the northern end of the zone, do one or two quests and turn them back in at Booty Bay. Rebel Camp's quests are largely independent of the rest, though, so you can do those first. Then, head to Booty Bay, where you can pick up two main quests for the northern area: Investigate the Camp and the start of the Excelsior chain, both of which takes you to Nesingwary's Expedition, where you obtain all of the nice happy quests there.

Hillsbrad is only good starting at about level 33, at which point you can actually *do* all of the quests that you could obtain at level 30… Arathi only has one or two quests that you can actually do right now, but it's listed anyways.

Kurzen Cave has been fixed, which perhaps means that Jungle Fighters and Headshrinkers have as well, so someone test that out please.

Level 37-43:
- Stranglethorn Vale
- Arathi Mountains [Refuge Pointe, Faldir's Cove]
- Badlands [Various camps around the zone]
- Desolace [37]
- Elite Area: Stromgarde
- Elite Area: Mosh'ogg Mound
- Instance: Scarlet Monastery
- Instance: Uldaman
- Instance: Razorfen Downs
- Happy Loot: Tiny Black Whelpling (Badlands)
- Grind Area [37]: Lashtail Raptors (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [37]: Water Elementals (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [39]: The spider cave north of Brackenwall (Swamp of Sorrows)
- Grind Area [39]: Rock Elementals (Badlands)
- Grind Area [39]: Elder Crag Coyotes (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Scalding Whelps (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Agmond's End (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Ziata'jai Ruins (Venture Co. Stuff, Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [43]: Naga Explorers (Stranglethorn Vale)

Preparation: Purchase 9 Blue Pearls, 1 Frost Oil, 1 Gyrochronatom, 4 Buzzard Wings, 1 Elixir of Water Breathing.

37 is where you obtain your next batch of quests from Stranglethorn Vale. Arathi Highlands has fairly decent quests in Faldir's Cove, or if you're feeling group-friendly, knock out the ones in Stromgarde. Badlands has a lot of nice quests, but you have to actually find them. This is where supplementing experience by grinding becomes more efficient at times, and at 42-43 you should be closing the last of your Stranglethorn quests, and be finished with Badlands and Arathi both, as well.

Scarlet Monastery. Black Menace or Sword of Serenity. Nothing more needs to be said - except where to obtain the quest: Desolace.

Level 43-46:
- Feralas [Feathermoon Stronghold]
- Tanaris [Gadgetzan, Steamwheedle Port]
- Instance: Zul'Farrak
- Grind Area [43]: Wastewander Bandits (Tanaris)
- Grind Area [44]: Isle of Dread (Feralas - Inside Cave; South of Feathermoon Stronghold)
- Grind Area [45]: Feral Scar Vale (Feralas)
- Happy Loot: 14slot bag! Cortello's Riddle quest, starts in one of the ships in Stranglethorn Vale for the end of the Bloodsail Buccaneers line of quests.

Fairly self explanatory, I guess. Not much going on here, really.

Level 46-50:
- Tanaris [Gadgetzan, Steamwheedle Port]
- The Hinterlands [Aerie Peak]
- Instance: Zul'Farrak
- Instance: Maraudon [49]
- Instance: Temple of Atal'Hakkar [50]
- Grind Area [47]: Undead in Western Ashzara (Azshara)
- Grind Area [47]: Dunemaul Compound (Tanaris)
- Grind Area [47]: Elementals/Golems around The Cauldron + N of it (Searing Gorge) - Elemental Leatherworking Supplies

At this point, you more than likely have a bunch of quests saved up for The Hinterlands - including but not limited to, the quest to gather Wildkin Feathers (from Rutheran Village), the quest to obtain a snapshot of Gammerita, the quest to obtain Violet Trajan, the last part of Cortello's Riddle, etc. Feel free to knock them all out at once.

Level 50-55:
- Searing Gorge [Kalaran Windblade]
- Blasted Lands
- Un'Goro Crater [Marshal's Refuge]
- Felwood [Emerald Sanctuary]
- Burning Steppes [Morgan's Vigil]
- Instance: Temple of Atal'Hakkar
- Grind Area [50]: Deadwood Village (Felwood)
- Grind Area [51]: Ruins of Eldarath (Azshara)
- Grind Area [52]: Dreadmaul Rock (Firegut Ogres - Burning Steppes)
- Grind Area [52]: Legash Encampment, Thalassian Base Camp, Ursolan (Azshara)
- Grind Area [52]: Jaedenar (Felwood)
- Grind Area [52]: Sorrow Hill (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [53]: Ironwood Trees in northern Felwood
- Grind Area [54]: Temple of Arkkoran (Azshara)
- Grind Area [55]: Jadefire Run, Felpaw Village (Felwood)

The quests in Blasted Lands all stack on top of each other. Five in total, one for each stat; they give 4700 experience per turn-in, along with always the chance of obtaining a Draenethyst Sphere for Kumi'sha the Collector with every mob you kill. Un'Goro Crater has the biggest collection of quests out of all of these zones.

Level 55-60:
- Winterspring [Everlook, Starfall Village]
- Western Plaguelands [Chillwind Point]
- Eastern Plaguelands
- Instance: Blackrock Depths
- Instance: Blackrock Spire [60]
- Instance: Stratholme [60]
- Instance: Scholomance [60]
- Grind Area [55]: Felstone Field, Dalson's Tears, The Writhing Haunt, Gahrron's Withering (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: Northridge Lumber Camp (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: Corin's Crossing (Eastern Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: The Pillar of Ash (Burning Steppes)
- Grind Area [56]: Winterfall Village (Winterspring)
- Grind Area [57]: Blackrock Stronghold (Burning Steppes) [NOTE]
- Grind Area [57]: Ice Thistle Hills (Wintespring) - Rugged Leathers

Notes: Blackrock Stronghold is probably the best place to grind for a rogue; however, you do have to get used to how the roamers work. You'll probably die a few times along the way while learning them. Also, this might likely be another area where they're increasing the armor on the mobs, but two of the four kinds of orcs that spawn are casters, anyway. Ice Thistle Hills is not the best place to grind for experience, but it's probably one of the better places to get a nice quiet grind going and also leave with a few backpacks full of Rugged Leather.

1-12

I found the best place to be the undead (I haven't done Tauren, orc/troll suck). Tons of quests and you can easily leave the newbie zone at level 12 which should be your goal. If you pick orc/troll, you will probably have to do a little bit of grinding, because I was only able to get to level 10 in Durotar doing every quest (I think I did at least), and the mobs start at level 12 in the barrens.

12-18

Barrens. Duh. A whole fuckload (yes, I have to use that word) of quests. More quests than any other zone, for a huge level range. You can easily stay in the barrens until after level 20. You will get bored of it though ;P

18-26

Your time here is best spent between stonetalon and the dreaded hillsbrad foothills. Hillsbrad does have tons of awesome quests, plus it's a cool zone, but it's also a zone where horde funnel in at level 18 or so, and alliance funnel in at level 30… Definatly can be a test of your patience if you don't have a couple of buddies to group with for protection. Stonetalon is a lot better now, but still does not have the content that Hillsbrad does, although it can be a good escape, both from alliance, and when you get tired of Barrens.

27-37

Two words: Salt Flats. Located in the eastern part of Thousand Needles, at level 30 about 8 quests open up that will net you 1 level in about 3 hours of killing mobs. Plus, you will make about 5g selling the useless drops you get. Easiest level in the game Wink After you finish needles/flats you should be about level 33-34, and Arathi Highlands is where you want to be. It has a small alliance presence, but horde numbers are much greater. Lots of good quests here, including a bunch of elites with awesome rewards (one of the best swords you can get for levels 34).

37-45

Now it's on to the Badlands, where you get to deal with 8billion coyotes running all over, and earth elementals on every single border Smile Nah, it is a pretty good zone, with some good quests. Miners will love it because there is a ton of ore to be had here, mostly iron, some silver/gold/mithril. You can also head to Tanaris at some point, where there are another good supply of quests. Ooops, almost forgot Grom'Gol in stranglethorn vale. A huge amount of quests here, including 1 for a 14 slot bag at level 36. Make sure you don't skip this area, lots of great stuff here. Almost forgot Faralas as well. Not a lot of quests here, but it is an absolutely gorgeous zone. There is 1 long questline that ends with an amazing weapon, no matter what your class (4 to choose from).

48-60

Lots of choices now, Ungoro, Winterspring, Western Plaguelands, etc etc.

I skipped over some zones, but they are just not worthwhile. Swamp of Sorrows for example has 5-6 quests, but it's so far out of the way that, except for the Sunken Temple being there, nobody has a reason to visit the damn place. Same with Blasted Lands.
