Ultimate Warcraft Guide

In this day's age of one stop shopping, I didn't think I'd be in a position to one stop my WoW Guide! I'd been 'shopping' around for a good all inclusive WoW Guide for a long time, and just wasn’t having....   Read more!

1. Create a new charcter

2. Send that new character the items, gold you want him/her to send to someone annonymously

(if its just a text mail/letter then dont mind step 2)

3. Send the mail!

4. Log out and delete the character lol.

5. thus when the recipient gets the mail it will be ‘from: unknown’…

Did this last night with my priest.
After completing the temple and killing the 2 bossess with the prisoners :biggrin:sergeant bly and his remaining crew will stand there and wait for you to insult him so you can kick his trash. well to make this fight a little easyer. firts talk to the goblin to blow open the doors then just Wait. after a few min the entire group will start to despawn/hearthstone if you time it just right they will all start to de-spawn you talk to sergeant bly and insult him. well this pissess him off and wants to fight but all of him hommies have already hearthed out so you take him on 5 on 1.

I’ve made a ton of gold doing this – thought it was about time I shared some tips and tricks. :)

The Basic Idea

Buy cheap armour and weapons, disenchant them, and sell the resulting crystals/shards/essences/dusts for a profit. Easy!

Addons

I use three:

Auctioneer (http://www.auctioneeraddon.com)
Tracks Auction House prices, adds improved searching/sorting capabilities, suggests prices when creating your own auctions, and automates the posting of multiple auctions. This is a must-have addon for anybody using the auction house.

Enchantrix (http://www.auctioneeraddon.com) – included with Auctioneer
Comes with a database of disenchantable items, and what they disenchant to – helps you choose which items to buy. (If you want to sell enchants as well, it will help you calculate what to charge for them based on Auctioneer’s prices for the reagents).

(As of this writing, the release versions of Auctioneer and friends are not WoW 2.x compatible, but the Beta version at http://www.auctioneeraddon.com/dl/AuctioneerComplete/ seems to be pretty solid now).

CT_MailMod (http://www.ctmod.net) – part of the CTMod package
Automates the sending/receiving of mail – open up to 50 mails with one click. You will be dealing with a lot of mail if you start doing this seriously. :)

Preparation

* Use Auctioneer to scan the Auction House. If you haven’t used it before you should run scans regularly for a week or so, so that it can build up a good database of prices. Prices vary through the week – usually higher at weekends – and to a lesser extent through the day, so it is important to scan regularly over an extended period. To speed up the scans you can configure Auctioneer to scan only in the Trade Goods category, unless you are interested in prospecting in other areas.

* Train up your enchanting. As of patch 2.x, the maximum level of items you can disenchant depends on your enchanting skill. To disenchant items up to level 60, you need skill 225. You can train up to skill 60 with disenchanting alone which is a start; consult one of the ‘powerskilling’ guides in this forum for details on how to skill up efficiently from there.

* Learn how disenchanting works. When you disenchant an item, it may disenchant to several types of reagent – perhaps more than one reagent of a given type, but never to more than one type. For example, a level 41 green armour piece may disenchant to 1-2 Dream Dust OR (less frequently) 1-2 Greater Nether Essence OR (even less frequently) a Large Radiant Shard.

Weapons and armour disenchant to different items depending on their level requirement:

Levels 1-10: may disenchant to Strange Dust, Lesser Magic Essence or Small Glimmering Shard
11-15: Strange Dust, Lesser Magic Essence, Greater Magic Essence, Small Glimmering Shard
16-20: Strange Dust, Lesser Astral Essence, Greater Magic Essence, Large Glimmering Shard
21-25: Soul Dust, Greater Astral Essence, Large Glimmering Shard
26-30: Soul Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard
31-35: Vision Dust, Greater Mystic Essence, Large Glowing Shard
36-40: Vision Dust, Lesser Nether Essence, Small Radiant Shard
41-45: Dream Dust, Greater Nether Essence, Large Radiant Shard
46-50: Dream Dust, Lesser Eternal Essence, Small Brilliant Shard
51-55: Illusion Dust, Greater Eternal Essence, Large Brilliant Shard
56-60: Illusion Dust, Greater Eternal Essence, Large Brilliant Shard
50-60: Nexus Crystal from Epics, and very rarely (<1%) from Rares

Notes:

* Dusts drop most often from armour; essences from weapons. The only exception is Astral Essence, which drops exclusively from level 16-25 armour, never from weapons.

* Dusts and essences drop in larger quantities in higher level brackets (if they appear in more than one), e.g. a level 36 item may drop 3-5 Vision Dust, while a level 35 item may yield only 1-2.

* Blue items (nearly?) always yield a shard; greens yield one 4-5% of the time.

* Some green weapons/armour are not disenchantable at all, so be careful when bidding. Prominent examples are enchanter-crafted wands and the Twilight Trappings items (Twilight Cultist’s Cowl etc.).

Buying

With Auctioneer and Enchantrix installed, when you mouse-over an item in the auction house a tooltip pops up telling you what it could disenchant to, with probabilities, and an expected value based on Auctioneer’s price database. Because disenchanting is somewhat random, this is only a statistical estimate, but a good guide if you are disenchanting on a large scale. The simple rule is, if the item is ‘cheaper enough’ than its expected disenchant value, buy it!

You can look for good buys in any way you like, but I generally do the following:

1) Pick a level bracket (say, 46-50), item type (weapon or armour) and quality (uncommon or rare) and Search.

2) Look at a match and note its disenchant value in the tooltip. The value should be the same for all items of the same quality in the search results.

3) Figure out a maximum bid price. I usually bid up to 80-85% of disenchant value, but you may want to be more conservative. Remember that when you sell an item, the auction house takes a cut of 5% of the final sale price, so bidding much above 90% is a bad idea unless you have good reason to believe the estimate is too low.

4) Sort the list by current bid

5) Work through the list bidding on everything until you hit your bid limit. Remember to check all the pages.

Tips:

* If an item has a low buyout, or a buyout very close to its current bid, you may want to buy it outright instead of bidding

* If an item has a very low bid, consider bidding higher than the default to discourage others from outbidding you – better a smaller profit than none at all.

* Supply, demand and prices change, so don’t be rigid in choosing your bid limit. If a reagent looks particularly rare at the moment, consider raising your limit. If there’s an oversupply of a reagent, or you have a ton of it yourself already, you don’t need to be so aggressive.

* Concentrate on level brackets which provide items you need, or think you’ll need. Don’t bid blindly on everything, or you’ll end up with a huge surplus of certain reagents and fill up all your bags.

Disenchanting

Not much to say here. Grab your winnings from the mailbox and disenchant them.

Don’t be disheartened if you make a loss on an item. So you paid 2g50 for something that yielded one lousy Illusion Dust; but next time you may get two Greater Eternal Essence from the same item – instant 10g profit. It’s a gamble, but if you bid sensibly, the odds are in your favour in the long run.

Selling

It’s mostly the same as selling any other type of item – know your market and set your prices accordingly. However, a few tricks:

* Lower level dusts and essence (up to level 40) are mostly bought by people who are skilling up enchanting themselves, and are buying in large quantities. You can save yourself some time by selling only full stacks of these reagents. Lower level shards (glowing and below) tend to be hard to sell – learning enchanters usually go for the dusts and essences because they’re cheaper.

* At higher levels, there are still people skilling up, but also non-enchanters buying ingredients for individual enchants. I usually sell singly and in stacks of 5, 10 and 20 to cover all bases.

* Check prices for different quantities individually – single items and small stacks are often more in demand than full stacks, and can be sold for proportionally more.

* Keep your bid price close to or even the same as your buyout, to avoid people bidding, winning, and undercutting you. There is no deposit on enchanting reagent auctions, so no penalty for them expiring. I have mine set at 95% of buyout, but I sometimes go a little lower if I want to undercut someone.

* Watch for disparities in the prices and supply of lesser and greater essences: lesser essences often sell for more than a third of the price of greater ones. (I guess many people don’t know that you can split/combine them).

* Don’t flood the market. You may have 20 stacks of Vision Dust itching to be sold, but it’s very unlikely that you’ll get rid of all of it in 24 hours, and oversupply drives prices down. I usually limit myself to 4 stacks of dusts, 2 of essences, and 1 of shards, sometimes more for the lower level reagents that tend to sell in large quantities if they sell at all. You can always replenish your auctions if some of them sell.

* If you find you are running low on a particular reagent, jack your prices while you restock. Far better for your auctions to expire than to run out of a reagent when there’s a shortage, and see people selling it for twice its normal price.

* Adjust your prices to track the market, but don’t lower them too far. Floods never last forever, and after a while you should get a feeling for a baseline price where things will always sell eventually. Enchantrix includes some built-in baseline prices, used in the tooltip, but they may not match your server’s economy; you can adjust them by editing the .lua files if you like.

* Use Auctioneer’s ‘Post Auctions’ pane rather than the default UI. If you have scanned recently (always a good idea before posting auctions) it displays a list of other auctions for the same item to help you choose a price (or buyout cheap auctions). It can also automate the posting of multiple auctions – e.g. 10 auctions of Illusion Dust@1g20.

* In recent versions of Auctioneer, manually searching for an item using the regular ‘Browse’ UI – and viewing every page of matches – updates Auctioneer’s prices for that item, so you don’t need to do a full scan if you are only posting a few different types of item.

And that’s it

Here are some tips to duel, or 1v1 pvp better:

1. Waiting for the right moment – If you have the 2 points in Imp. Sap this tip will work even better than without, say you are dueling a priest or mage, they have their shield up. Chain sap them till the shield wears off, then continue with the battle. Yes, it might be a boring 45 seconds or whatever but, if you can do 2 sinister strikes while the shield is down as a sword combat rogue I can get a extra 1000 damage from back to back sinister strikes. If you don’t have 2 points in Imp. Sap then, wait for the shield to go down then try to cheap shot asap.

2. Using terrain – This has saved me so many times. When dueling a prot. specc warriorm or, any warrior when I open with my cheapshot, sinister strike, sinister strike, and then rupture I make my way to a small building or something that you can jump over, such as the giant spikes infront of org, and then kite the warrior till im out of combat, then restealth. If you are vs. a warrior watch his stances. If he is in zerker, you might want to stay between 5yds (Min attack range) and 8yds (Min charge range). This will take some practice but, it can work very well. Yes, it does make a very lame pitiful fight but, it gets the job done well!

3. Kick! – This is awsome to begin with but, if you are specced into Imp. Kick it is about 5 times better. If you are dueling a shadow priest, and you kick it with Imp. Kick it can’t cast for 2 seconds leaving you the window to do whatever you want. If you are dueling against a good priest they will unshift and heal but, not all of them do that. If you are lucky one will and you can get a 5 point KS off and own if without the shadow damage reduction for 6 seconds! Don’t waste kick thought. If a warlock is casting a dot, save it for a shadowbolt or something that can really do some damage.

These are a few things that a lot of people forget. Im sure you have something better than this or think this isn’t good, and thats fine.

Fishing Bot (World of Warcraft comics)

Features
- Bobber scanning has test results of 95%+ accuracy with great speed
- Fish scanning has test results of 70%+ accuracy
- Easy-to-change constants for tweaking
- Supports any resolution (yes, even non-standard ones like really stretched out)
- Supports CosmosUI
- Dynamic RGB color finding (works in practically any light)
- AFK-Away

Use
1. Copy/Paste the code below into AC Tool (found at http://www.actool.net
2. Run WoW in Windowed Mode
3. Put fishing skill in slot ’0′
5. Under Video Options (press Escape to bring up main menu), UNCHECK ‘Hardware Cursor’
6. Zoom into 1st person mode
7. Review constants in script, particularly ‘runCount’ to set how many times the script should run
8. Run the macro

Notes
- For best results, try turning all fancy graphics options off (especially ‘Terrain Highlights’ under Shaders.. takes all the brightness out of the water) and use a low resolution (perhaps under 800×600, the smaller the faster)
- If you are having problems finding the bobber, where the mouse simply goes over the bobber and never stops, or goes a little bit past the bobber before stopping, try increasing the ‘scanSpeed’ constant. Do this only after turning off all fancy graphics and decreasing resolution
- Please please please fish AWAY FROM CIVILIZATION. We need as little publicity as possible, thankyouverymuch.
- Try to find a spot where you are level with the water. Run the script once or twice and note the highest line where the script scans for the bobber. Then throw 15 or so casts manually and note where the highest cast goes. Try to match those two lines up, you will get much faster results.
- If the bobber is landing outside of the scan area, adject the scan area percentage constants in the macro to include the areas where the bobber lands.
- You can turn off AFK Away if you want to chat while fishing

Future
- The fish scanner isnt the best right now, will definitely need tweaking. I’ll try to get that working better in a future update.
- An inventory management system to automatically open up containers such as clams, bottles, chests, etc.
- An option to quit fishing after a set amount of time
- An option to turn on random timings between casts/clicking of the fish/etc

1. Introduction.
Netlimiter is a tool designed to control your upload / download rate on a specific process (a lot of !@#$%^&* use it to limit their upload on eMule and other P2P client). With it, you will be able to cheat your ping on WoW.

2. Installation.
2.1 Get the program here: http://www.netlimiter.com/download/nl_209_pro.exe

2.2 Install it, and reboot if needed.

2.3 Launch Netlimiter and then launch world of warcraft. Configure Netlimiter to show the rate in Ko/s

2.4 Set WoW video to windowed (you will be able to switch to netlimiter fast, usefull for PvP).

2.5 When you want to get the lag compensation, just check the upload slot to 0.10 ko/s onto the processe WoW.exe.

Don’t block your upload rate up to 2 minutes or else you will be disconnected.

3. Examples
3.1 Warsong PvP
You are a rogue close to the ennemy flag, with sprint available. You take the flag, you enable your sprint, you enable the block of your upload rate to 0.10 and you start running to your base. You will fastely realise that your sprint
!@#$%^&* is blocked to 0 seconds, so you continue to run fast during 2 minutes, instead of 15 seconds.

The other people will see this like a big lag.
They will see you in a place, then 100 m later, that’s why it’s hard to be detected.

THIS WORK WITH ALL BUFF, that’s means, Potions, Buff, Debuff, etc…

3.1 Infiltration stormwind, Orgrimmar, Ironforge.. whatever.
Even if you are a low level (even level 5 !) you will be able to enter a big enemy city easily. Just get your sprint available if you are a rogue, or a potion of speed if you’re not.

For stormwind example : Stay into the Elwyn forest (position yourself to don’t get the PNJ 62+ visible). Enable your sprint -> Netlimit block 0.10 and start running on stormwind. You will realise again that your sprint will not vanish and better : there is nobody inside stormwind ! ( No PNJ, no player s) … unless you re-active the upload as normal then you will suddently see a lot of players and even PNJ attacking you, but the exploit is there. i prefere die 1 time, and get into the center of an ennemy city than 500 time trying to get in there.

That’s it.
The better is to try it and get in other way. You will quickly understand the advantage of this manipulation and the disadvantage.

First, take the path from Kharonose city to gnomeregen. When the letters appear
announcing you are in gnomeregan, STOP. Turn around. There should be a big hilkl
by you, where the mountains are restricting you. Turn that way and easily make
your way up the mountian. Stop when you get the giuant drop off. slowly ease your
self off the edge, but nudging both your mouse buttons slowly. After you fall,
you should grab some of the edge going down, giving you time to heal, cause you
need your full health. Soon, if you made it to the bottom, then walk over and try
to die. When you release your spirit, you will be in Wetlands. Just rez at the
spirit healer. (Dont include these parenthesis in the final draft, but if you
need a demonstration, look me up on the server ‘The Forgotten Coast’ and make
an alliance. Add Thedutchess to friends and then talk to me if i am online.)

As a some of you may know, the Blood Elf Bandit Mask is going for high ammounts of
gold on most servers, allakhazam average says about 40-50g a piece, maybe higher for
horde characters.

The only place to get one of these is from a mob named ‘Blood Elf Bandit’ on
Azuremyst Isle. It is the only Blood Elf on the island and the spawn time is about 2
minutes each and the droprate for it is about 10% So you’ll probably get it after
20 or so minutes of grinding on him. So I was looking around, and found a somewhat
close pattern to where he spawns. It’s all in random locations around the island,
and in a random pattern, but I made a map that’s somewhat close to where he spawns.

IPB Image

For any of you who don’t know how to get to Azuremyst Isle, take a boat from
Auberdine, Darkshore (it’s the previously unused dock – there will be signposts.)
Be sure to avoid the guards and keep a low profile if you’re Horde.

Once on Azuremyst Isle, follow this route counter-clockwise. I’ve labeled spawn
points along the route. You’ll need to keep a sharp eye while patrolling for him -
he is stealthed. The best giveaway will be the stealth sound that plays when you
detect him, so keep you volume up.

800g in 1 week (World of Warcraft 1.8)

NOTE: This strategy is for mages only

This is probably the best way to get money for your epic mount… I spent roughly 5 days of 11am-11pm. I started on Monday, and by the next Monday I bought my epic mount. There are, however some requirements for this, which the details follow on below. I have tested both frost and fire specs with this strategy and they both seem fine, however the fire spec tends to increase the efficiency.

Requirements

A level 60 Mage with

EITHER

Frost Spec with Ice Barrier and improved Arcane Explosion

OR

Fire Spec with combustion and blast wave

Step 1

Head over to Scarlet Monastery and pop yourself in the graveyard instance.

Step 2

Kill all the NPCs in the hallway and room as normal APART FROM THE GROUP OF 4, which I will show you how to kill below. What’s below should be enough, if you feel under threat, use mana shield.

Fire Spec:

Enable Combustion -> Blast Wave -> Arcane Explosion (repeat until they are all about 15% health) -> Frost Nova (then move back) -> Flamestrike -> Cone of Cold.

Frost Spec:

Ice Barrier -> Arcane Explosion (repeat until they are all about 15% health) -> Frost Nova (then move back) -> Blizzard -> Cone of Cold.

Step 3

OK, now that room is over. Carry on through the next corridor, killiung as normal. When you get into the graveyard, stop. This is where your income comes from. Make sure you have full health, mana and plenty of spirits to pull :) Then do the following:

Fire Spec:

Mana Shield -> Combustion

NOW RUN AROUND AND PULL AROUND 25 SPIRITS. AVOID THE ELITES. STOP PULLING IF YOU ARE DOWN TO HALF HEALTH AND THEN…

Mana Potion (if required) -> Blast Wave -> Frost Nova -> Walk away so they cant hit u before they die :)

Frost Spec:

Ice Barrier

NOW RUN AROUND AND PULL AROUND 25 SPIRITS. AVOID THE ELITES. YOU MAY NEED TO USE MANA SHIELD AFTER BARRIER DROPS. STOP PULLING IF YOU ARE DOWN TO HALF HEALTH AND THEN…

Mana Potion (if required) -> Arcane Explosion (repeate until all are dead, this is usually around 4 explosions)

Step 4

Now you have killed loads and loads of spirits, loot them… you will get plenty of money along with green items, which you can choose to sell at AH or Vendor when you’re done. You can carry on into the building at the end and kill the NPC’s and boss in there, then come out and reset instance, and go straight back in and do it all again (until your bags are full).
