You guys all know the Silithus 'Field Duty' quest which requires a healer in order to complete it, (the healer has to heal the captain so he doesnt die while killing the abonimation in silithus at 32,52. Have you ever wanted to kill some time doing this repeatable quest over and over, but there are no healers in silitihus that are willing to help? Well, fear no more! (well fear as much as you can haha, lol youl laugh later). This exploit is for warlocks only—– 1. go to 32,52 and call out the abonimation. 2. let the NPCs get a lil agro. 3. And after they have agro and have done the amount of damage that the captain is on 50% health– start to chain fear the abonimation. The captain and NPCs follow the abonimation… When the captain is far enough from the camp, he will run back (so might the footmen, but thats ok) 4. Now sit back and relax, when the few NPCs die that were killing the abomination they will run on you (means agro is on you so be carul) Now the main goal is to get the abomination to the footmen + captain in the camp and hope that the abomination AOEs. Once he AOEs, the captain will get agro (dont worry the abomination AOEs alooot) 5. And your set, they should be able to kill the abomination from now. Few known bugs– somtimes when your unlucky- you basically fear him in a circle thus, the captain will not go far anough to run back… This has happened once to me but ill write it anyway.. When the few mobs that died that had the agro on the abomination– for some reason he didnt run on me– so he regened life, so in my opinion you can bypass this by always having a curse on him. Well… Thats that! Its true that it doesnt always work but its ok still good for me! Good luck.

It struck me that a well planned Alliance raid could, if a way were found to re-enter normal space INSIDE Orgrimmar, bypass the guards at the gate and enter the city enmasse in the soft underbelly.



I went back to the glitch and, in exploring the city in a surreal landscape of ZERO, noticed that occasionally, a player became visible for a few seconds before the void reasserted itself. Further, there are landmarks which are clearly visible from the glitch. Most of these landmarks are the bonfires that are sprinkled liberally throughout the City.



I noted that the minimap showed Orgrimmar as we know it, so I knew where I was at all times during this exploration of Limbo. I had hoped that a way could be found to re-enter normal space near Thrall s Throne Room to make the surprise complete and enable a raid to control the entire city from a position of strength for a while until every lvl 60 Horde Character online finally raced to the City to repell the Invaders. What fun!



OK, what I found was that if I could interact with visible features that exist in the Glitch, that passage to normal space is granted Unfortunately, I could only find two places where this interaction was possible, at the gates themselves, which gives little advantage, and at the bonfire below the Bank, which isn t nearly as good a surprise as re-entry near the Throne Room would have been, but still, given all the other plusses, makes this little exploit HUGE.



To re-enter, I stood UNDERNEATH the bonfire and jumped up into it. Curiously, the first jump took me to an invisible ledge partway up into the fire, but still in the Glitch and the second jump brought me face to face with a Grunt Guard, in the Orgrimmar that I have learned to know and love.



OK, here is the exploit:



A well planned raid sends 4 players to Orgrimmar. One of them must be a Warlock with a bag full of Soul Shards. The advance party follows Kyle s path and gets above the walls of the City. Now from the overlook pinnacle, descend, in two jumps, to the top of the Walls. Immediately, jump down BEHIND the walls, into the glitch. If you get to the walls proper, you WILL NOT DIE from the jump into the glitch.



Once inside the glitch, the Advance party begins summoning the full Raid. If it is a massive raid (100+ members), there will have to be several Warlocks summoned with the first wave in order to provide enough Shards to get the job done.



As a final test, I hooked up with my son. We both have troll hunters on a server we have not visited for 6 months, but still alive. With the Track Humanoids spell, one of us in normal space, one in the glitch, our blips were visible on the minimap ONLY if both of us were close to the same normal terrain feature visible from the glitch. I am confident that the raid could, if it kept away from the entry point until the mad rush, avoid detection totally until actually inside the city.



A word of caution. DON T GO INTO THE DRAG! The terrain in the Glitch corresponding to where the Drag lies is a depression with steep, unclimbable walls. You can go into it, but you can t get out. Else, you are free to explore at your leisure. Maybe someone with more persistence than I could even find another re-entry point further away from the social hub of the Bank/Auction House.



Folks. this is so rife with possibilities, that I am tempted to suggest it to my endgame guild on my Carebear server just to put some spice in everyone s life. My son wanted to get our 60's and have a go right after we proved the test. Without giving away too much, there are members of this forum who know of a massive Alliance raid which is currently in the planning stages. Gentlemen, I will carefully instruct you how to do it if I can come along.
