~Priest's Ultimate Leveling guide for Horde~

This guide is the result of literally years of playing WoW, and a lot of time wasted on unnecessary side-quests. There will be some stuff that you go What? Why did you skip Hillsbrad?! . Well, yeah, I skip most of Hillsbrad; that's how I level. I always had a problem on new servers, in that I was always about 10 levels above everybody else, and so started solo'ing the whole game. It can be done, successfully. Before talking about my playing style, I'll cover what exactly I did to end up at my play style.

Playing WoW for the first time was pretty slow going. I tried nearly every single quest, wasting (as you probably know) tons of time on pointless (read: unrewarding) side-quests. But, by doing this I learned the quests that were worth doing, and the ones that weren't (because of the time vs. XP reward, and certain quests that are too hard to solo effectively). I started using great sites like Thottbot.com and wow.allakhazam.com because they show you every single quest in the game, plus large amounts of information regarding all quest/mob items, and the XP reward for them. I wanted to learn the game completely, and so I read every quest description, and took my time very slowly, learning everything possible. I did every instance 5 or more times, tried out every profession, and studied the information on websites about each instance, mob loot chances, and all the quests for them. While playing I was continually checking the map to see where I was and memorize the world. Up until this point, I've had this guide 'in my head' and not really on paper. After getting bugged continually by some friends and other people in the game on my play style, I decided to write this up.

The method of doing quests is, IMO, extremely accurate and shows people the fastest way to do most of all the Horde quests, in the least amount of time. This pattern was used by me to attain 4 days 20 hours /played time to lvl 60 on new servers, and it's now been revised even more. Also the quest patterns are pretty much the same no matter what class you choose (except you have to do your class's quests which aren't a whole lot). I'm going to give my quest patterns starting with a hunter in Durotar.

HUNTER ONLY SECTIONS: All MAROON-colored text are hunter specific ONLY.
NOTE: Before using this guide, please refer to the end of the guide for some other tips and tricks that will help
you level faster.

01) I do every single quest in Durotar! Here's the fastest way to do em:
02) Start off doing 'Cutting Teeth'

'Minshina's Skull[/color]' and 'Zalazane')
16) Do NOT do 'A solvent Spirit' at the water around Sen'jin Village. Make sure the quest is accepted though.

18) Make sure you get to level 6 before you get up there for new spells.

Making 300-400g Per Hour

If you are a skinner you make even more gold.

In Winterspring where the elite dragons are you can make a lot of gold.

They have a pretty high drop rate of Mature Blue Dragon Sinew that sells for 300-400g depending on your server but on our server they sell for 300-400g. They also drop lots of grey that you can vendor for some g, and plenty greens to. If you don't already have 16 slots bags you will get yours there to.

We've got mostly Traveler's Backpack. That sells for 18-25g at AH, depending on your server (as always).

If you are a skinner you get a lot of rugged leather and blue dragonscales.
And they also drop silver from 14-20s, They are easy to kill solo also; we re playing a shaman with decent gear killing them with no problems.

Our exact amount of gold right now is 3759g

Hopefully this will help all those poor guys out there.

Farming the Scarlet Monastery

This guide is geared for a Rogue in PvP gear, recommended level 50. Although it's designed for speed farming, any level 60 can do it, it's simply faster with a Rogue (locked chests also). I've you've chanced to learn Enchanting you can disenchant and it is really worth it.

SM GY
Enter in the GY and head to the first main room. In the upper-left corner of the room you'll find a chest, sometimes locked, sometimes not. Sap one of the four guards guarding it and kill the other 3. Pull them to the chest so you won t get aggro from the patrolling guard. Kill all and loot chest. Proceed to the other hall and up the stairs, when you get in the courtyard there is a chance for a chance to spawn either on the right side or the left. It will be against the wall guarded by 1 guard or 3 spirits (easy kills). If the chest is not there then it's at the bottom of the tomb.

Look for three rare spawns as you make your way to the tomb. Ironspine, Fallen Champion, and Azshir the Sleepless. Although we've never seen all of them up at once, we have seen them all and they are in random spots on the left side of the court yard. They all have decent loot that you can vendor for good cash.

The Bloodmage at the bottom is simple to kill, just go all out dps and he should be down pretty fast. Loot and scoot.

SM Library
The library is pretty simple. You'll find The Houndmaster in the first courtyard. He's pretty easy as a rogue, just kill/loot/vanish. Others will have to clear. He rarely drops a blue though. Proceed into the hall after you kill. (Herbalists take note: There is always a Fadeleaf in the courtyard). The first chest is the last room on the left down the main hall. It's guarded by 3 people and a patrol comes in and out. Wait on the patrol to leave, sap one, kill the rest, then loot. Its pretty simple for 60 s. Continue through the halls until you come to next chest, will either be in the 2nd or 3rd hall from last chest on the left, or in last hall on the right side just before you enter Arcanist Doans room.

Arcanist Doan is real simple, just dps until he bubbles, wait it out and finish him off.

SM Armory
In the courtyard there's usually a Fadeleaf in for you herbalists, and chance on a chest in there also. We've seen the chest be in random spots in courtyard. If chest isn t there it will be in the second part of the room you are about to go in guarded by 2 guards and a patrol. Kill these quick and don t let them run or it can be an add nightmare. After this truck over to Herod unless you wanna stop and get Fireworks on the way.

Herod is pretty simple also, just dps and back off when he spins, and repeat, he isn t a problem. Watch out for the 20 or so trainees after you kill. They are all one shotted and they can, from what we've seen, drop 5 scarlet tabards.

SM Cathedral
We only went in here for the Goldthorn, it is to time consuming to clear everything so we go get the two Goldthorns and get out. Others may wanna clear, but we're into speed farming.

Chest loot is the main goal here, and the following are some of the money making items we have looted:

http://www.thottbot.com/?i=3879 GY Chest, sold for 40g on our server

http://www.thottbot.com/?n=250072 GY Chest, sold for 35g on our server

http://www.thottbot.com/?i=7970 Scarlet Monk, gave to a buddy

http://www.thottbot.com/?i=14591 Library Chest, sold for 200g (pretty rare)

These are some of our big finds, not counting little blues that sell for 5-10g on AH and all the DE stuff. You'll get a lot of 12 slot bags from these chests and they go from 1-2g depending on the server.

Another thing for Rogues is to pickpocket as much as you can for heal pots which sell nice. Last thing is SILK, you get a ton of it. We sell ours for 40s a stack and it sells like crazy on the AH.

Good luck!

The Eastern Part of Thousand Needles (Better known as the Shimmering Flats) is a place with a few pure grinding quests which are fun, and can last a level or so, people would be surprised with the amount of money with that level, but wouldn't bother to look it up and advance.

After 20k exp (or 35 minutes) we had gotten 5g richer, this would mean, 6-7 g an hour at level 34 (We had completed 3 qs in those 35 minutes)
This is a lot of gold when you grind 31-34 (30 is just to low) which allows you to maybe even buy your talents and your mount. This is very useful, especially since the money comes from vendor thrash (this is great on new servers, where greens/blues don't sell for tons)

Lake Nazferiti (A good farming spot for level 36-40)
For level 34-36, The Venture Co. Goblins, at Lake Nazferiti are also great for grinding.

If you are a skinner:
Go to the Jungle Thunderers or other gorilla's, they have good vendor thrash.
(Lesser) Rock Elementals in Badlands (Good grinding spot from 37-40+)
Also, we have the Rock Elementals in Badlands, nice vendor thrash, don't forget to sell the stones on AH (Elemental Earth, Solid Stone, the things that are not marked 'grey')

For Dragonscale Leatherworkers
We suggest going to the Whelplings in the Eastern corner of Badlands, you get scales, they're casters (low hp/AC!) and they drop a whelpling pet once in a huge blue moon.

From Prominence : The Spiders in Duskwood between Raven Hill
Cemetery and Twilight Grove drop Spider's Silk wich sells good depending on server economy.
If you still like turtles, then go grind on those on the shore in Tanaris (east). Enjoy

As you know, in World of Warcraft there are a hundred different
ways to make money. We'll be introducing some of the more profitable
ones in this guide…

Step 1 - Change from Crafter to Gatherer
Change your tradeskill into two gathering
skills if you see that your tradeskill doesn't bring much profit, in
fact tradeskills mostly bring very few profit because there is just
too many high level crafters with the time progressing. Leveling
tradeskills or gathering skills in this game is really not hard, at
high level it requires maybe 2-3 days of work to max a skill. If
there was a large profit to make with
enchanting/leatherworking/smithing/tailoring, people who can spend
more time online than you each day would have already maxed those
tradeskills and flooded the market with items.

In fact they did; actually shortly after people start to hit 60 on
a new server people start to exploit all possible ways to make money
to the maximum, so you got two possibilities to make money. You can
find a niche, a little secret way of making money, which is extremely
profitable but which is not known (well) by other players. As long as
your secret stays one, you will continue to make nice money, but be
sure that you wont find such a secret on any public forums as
spoiling it would also ruin the profit from it. (As soon as people
know a way to make money, many start to provide the same sort of item
and flood the market with it=decrease of demand=decrease of price
= no profit for you)
The second way, which is the interesting
way for us
, is to provide the market with items that are needed
on a large base and that are always demanded. What are those items in
general? Right! Ingredients for tradeskills.

Step 2 - Choose your Gathering Skill
Almost every
tradeskiller wont, at some point, be able to provide himself with all
the ingredients he needs. The more people there are who stick to
their tradeskills and don't want to give them up, the better the
profit will be for you. This is why you should choose two gathering
skills (cannot choose more than two).
Don't worry about making
armor - there is a simple solution: use mostly drop/quest items. If
you use items that drop instead of crafted items, you wont be much
behind (difference between items you can make and items you find at
your level while questing and hunting are mostly very small) and also
you will be able to concentrate fully on gathering ingredients which
you will sell on the AH. This way you will - in a short and fast way
- make a lot more money than any crafter and will eventually be able
to buy yourself any crafted item (if you should really want one).

Now there is only one problem, which gathering skills to
choose?

This is your choice and depends on the economy of
your server, but we have a general list of the gathering skills,
ranking them by how much profit they generate, helping you to get an
overview.

1) Mining - Mining is maybe the most
profitable gathering skill. Why? It's used for 3 different
tradeskills => Weapon/Armor Smithing + Engineering. Also some
ores/metal bars are used for potions and other tradeskills. You can
mine several ores from one mining spot and you can melt the ore
yourself to bars.
The other VERY important fact is that you get
rare gems from mining spots which are needed for tradeskills and
other things. At high levels these rare gems start to pay off a lot,
as one arcane crystal for example can be sold for a lot of money on
the AH, because it is needed for making Arcanite Bars, the most
precious and rare metal there is.

2) Skinning - Skinning is a very profitable
gathering skill as you get all your leather while hunting. You have
to kill beast type of mobs which can drop different sorts of leather.
Sometimes you get rare scales and quest items which are also
extremely precious. Skinning is profitable because you can do it
while killing mobs, that means you go into a cave with beasts and
kill them for a certain amount of time which brings you extra loot +
exp as well as loads of leather.

3) Herbalism - Herbs are a bit hard to find,
but if you know the spots it becomes actually easy if you have no
competition. Herbs sell surprisingly well on the AH and are not
offered often. If you really search good spots in high level zones,
with not too many people you can make nice money out of this.
Especially because you can get up to three herbs from one plant.

4) (Dis)Enchanting - The last and certainly
least profitable gathering skill is disenchanting items. You take
blue/green/purple drop items and disenchant them to get ingredients
for enchanters, who then can enchant armor with stats. This is by far
the most pricey skill to raise as you miss out on all the profit from
dropped items which you could sell. Enchanting ingredients can be
sold for nice money on the AH, but keep in mind that you will not be
able to sell any good item you see dropping if you take this skill
serious. Also you will have to ask and beg in groups to get not
needed armor/weapon drops in order to disenchant them, if you don't
play in a guild, you will certainly not be successful with your
requests often.

Step 3 - Organized Gathering
Now you need to start gathering
items. It doesn't matter if you raise your gathering skills while
leveling or as a high level, you will always want to keep these
things in min:

  1. Ingredients drop according to
    zone level.
That means, the higher the level of the ingredients
you need, the higher level the zone gets in which you have to
    search.

  2. Always keep up your tracking.
If you do mining or herbalism, make sure to ALWAYS have the
tracking for those items switched on, after dying for example it
turns itself off and you wont see any yellow dots anymore on the
    map.

  3. Find the good zones. There
are certainly better zones than others for gathering skills and good
spots for finding beasts to skin, you will have to find your very
own favorite spots which are not too crowded, but there are already
people who found out about the good zones for gathering. On our
forums here you can find a complete compendium of the best zones for
each herb for example and there is more to come about this shortly.
In the meantime you don't have to go and search through all zones,
    you can simply use www.thottbot.com
and check where the ingredient you need can be found most
    frequently.

  4. Make dots on your map. Either use the dot system (from
cosmos or insomniax) for making dots where you find certain minings
spots/herb locations, or use a mod that will do this for you
automatically; you can find one in our download section.
    This
will allow you to go directly - without losing time - to the
possible spots for ingredients and check if they are up. The longer
you do this and the more different paths you take through a zone,
the more dots you will get and the faster/more efficient you will
    become while gathering.
For skinning its slightly different; here
you will most likely find caves with a lot of beasts (like the ape
cave in Un'Goro or the Yeti cave in Winterspring), but make dots
anyway so you can quickly go to another skinning spot if there is
    already someone hunting at yours.

Step 4 - Use all Your Options

You will have to combine your gathering skills with a few other things to
really make the biggest profit.

  1. While searching ingredients or
while waiting on the respawn of your mining/herb spots, KILL THINGS.
Kill things as much as you can on your way. Don't kill any trash
like Oozes for example, but kill stuff that drops cloths (humanoid
mobs) or mobs that drop other useful stuff.
    If you really don't
get the time to kill mobs on your way then go into instances from
time to time. Make sure to find a rule for the loot that is
distributed and make sure to always ask if anyone needs an item, if
not everyone should roll on this dropped item.. Eventually you will
win stuff and be able to sell in on the AH.
    Additionally, in
instances you will find a lot of cloths from mobs which you can sell
    in stacks on the AH.

  2. Always empty your bags before
going to gather stuff or before going to an instance. This is
extremely important, bag space=money. Therefore try to invest
early in 14-16 slot bags to carry as much loot as possible.

  3. When you do quests, and when you
don't need any of the items that are offered as reward, make SURE
to always pick the biggest Axe/Sword/Plate Armor. Those sell for a
much nicer money than cloth items at the merchant.

  4. Friends who do tradeskills can
help. If you got friends who do tradeskills PROFIT from their
knowledge and ask them about how the economy goes for ingredients,
what do they need the most right now, what is the hardest item to
    find currently etc.

  5. Make Mules. If you lack bank space don't buy pricey bank
slots, just make a mule and log it in when needed, using the postbox
system or a friend or a second computer (if mule is on second
    account) to transfer items.

Step 5 - Auction House is Your Friend
Now we get to one of the most important factors for money making, the Auction House in short AH. Almost all ingredients/gems/armor pieces can be sold for a bigger money at the AH than to the merchant. Even if the price difference is only 1 gold, it pays off with the time coming. And there we already get to the most important rule about the AH - PATIENCE.

You will have to get to know the AH, it's prices and it's moods,
it's times and it's secrets. Don't mind studying the AH for a lot of
time, it's well worth it. There are UI mod's that write down
automatically on item windows the prices that they were seen for last
time on AH, this makes your work much much easier.

A few things that you need to work out about the AH:

  1. Get to know the prices, play
    with the prices.
Get to know the going prices for items that are
offered on the AH. This will allow you to estimate the best prices
for your own items and will allow you to even play with these. This
means, if you know exactly how much an item is worth normally, why
not offer it for a slightly higher price when there is no one else
    offering the same item?
Right, this is where the actual profit
comes from, knowledge about prices and the AH.

  2. Offer all your items. Even
if it might be a bother at the beginning and even if it might take a
while, you will get used to it and find out eventually which items
sell on the AH at all and which not, allowing you to sell the ones
that don't sell well at all to the merchant immediately.
    You
will pretty quickly get the drill and become a pro, you will be able
to memorize prices and use them quickly to set values for your goods
in order to move on faster to more farming.

  3. Watch the AH. This will
allow you to detect certain leaks and holes. Sometimes items like
ores are offered in a huge amount and prices drop, you might want to
keep your items and sell other things first while waiting for a
moment when there is less of these items for sale.
    You might
EVEN consider (if you find cheap merchandise on the AH) to buy up
all of it yourself and sell it for a higher price afterwards, people
will be forced to buy from you and forced to pay the price you set
because there wont be any other source for this item, than yours.

  4. Whatever you do, DON'T
    UNDERBID
. People tend to make the prices for items lower in
order to sell them faster and to underbid competitors, this however
is very narrow minded. It will hurt you in the end and cause you to
have to sell your items cheaper and cheaper, getting less and less
    money in the long run.
Look at this example: Mostly tradeskillers
start off selling crafted items for a big profit, then when
competition comes they have to lower the prices and at the end they
end up selling their stuff for slightly more than what it cost to
    make it.
So if you can prevent a price decrease, rather be
patient and leave your items at the same price, eventually they will
get bought, even if it takes several tries.

  5. Look at what times items sell
    the best
. This sounds easy but it's actually something you
always have to keep in mind.
If, for example, you hunt in an
instance and get a blue item, you will want to put it on the AH
fast. But lets assume that you are playing at a very late time, like
3 am. If you put the auction for your blue item now with a 24h
duration, the auction will expire at 3 am the next night, not
leaving many people the chance to overbid each other at the end.
(most bids are made at the last moments) So always look what is the
best, 8h duration or 24h, always check if you shouldnt maybe wait
for the next day rather to offer your item for sale, etc…

  6. Always put up buyout prices.
Never make auctions for items without having a buyout price. Many
people who want to raise crafting or want an armor piece fast don't
want to wait 1 day in order to know if they won an auction or not.
This is especially true for crafting ingredients. Imagine you are a
crafter, would you want to bid on one stack of mithril bars and then
wait like 1 day just to know if you won, although you need the bars
now? Most likely you wouldn't, so always put a buyout. Also
there are many people who have a lot of money and really want an
armor piece, those will gladly pay the buyout price if they really
desire what you sell and if your buyout price is not way too high.

  7. Last point is - what to put as buyout and what to put as
    base bid
? This is something you will have to find out yourself
but a general rule that you can apply at the beginning is, don't
ever go lower than the default base price that is given to you as
starting bid. Also if you are not sure what to put as buyout, look
at other auctions selling the same item, if there is none, put the
double of the base price (+ a bit more maybe) until you get to know
the economy. But beware, this is only a vague rule for beginners,
getting to know the prices of your AH is OBLIGATORY.

Make Gold with Secondary Skills

Crafting drops/exp
Farming crafting drops can be done all over the world of Azeroth. Things like Large Fangs are used in smithing/tailoring/enchanting/Alchemy. Spider silks come in 3 forms and sell VERY well on AH at times (Spider Silk, Ironweb Spider Silk, Shadow Silk).

*NICHE* Secondary Skills like Cooking and Fishing can be used to make consumable foods/Pet foods/Transforming foods. Most would snub their nose at this but we have made close to 450 gold in 2 days with cooking and fishing on straight runs though sat/sun, 12 hours each.

As you kill/fish things they drop meats etc. 90% of the items that drop in WoW are used in some craft/spell. Some sell for less some more. Gather all items that the monsters are dropping that you know are used in some craft. Then start fishing for Delight Fish. A Delight Fish is fun, and we won't go into the mods of eating it, but they often sell for as much as 2-5 gold on AH for five of them, and we typically gather about two per minute.
By cooking the items that you gather you allow people who don't want to max out a cooking skill maxed the ability to use them. We usually sell meats and soups on AH for 30 silver to 3 gold for 5.

Humanoids for cloth
Humanoids drop all kinds of cloth and its used in 4 of the 5 main trade skills, and 1 secondary skill. (linen, silk, mageweave, runecloth, fellcloth) As you encounter humanoid enemies, you can gather about 2-10 stacks within 20-50 min of farming as you pass though. Selling that on the AH when you get back to Ironforge or Orgimmar. Fellcoth is turned to mooncloth by tailors and we usually sell 2 fellcloth for 2 gold about 5-10 stacks per day.

Quest items
Although this is the most time consuming way to make money it is very easy to do. And once you know the locations of the items you are gathering you will be much faster at it.

We'll start with the big hitters:
Ungoro Crater (lvl 50+) — Shards from the area are used to create buffs and a quest that is located there. Can be sold in the amount of 10 stacks for 1 gold per 10 at the AH in Tanaris. They drop by 2-4 at a time and takes 30 min to get a full bag fast.

Ungoro Soil — Used in 3 quest for the alliance and 2 for the horde, this can sell very fast for a quick buck. We've sold 10 stacks for 50 silver to 2.5 gold depending on demand. At times the demand is so high we cant keep up with it.

Azshara(lvl 50+) — The hostile Gryphons there drop IronFeathers, used in one of the most desired armors on our server. You can sell a 10 stack for 5-10 gold and sell 4-15 stacks a day. Also there is an abundance of sea creatures that drop clams. The meat can be cooked, and if your lucky you will walk out with 15-20 gold or black pears to boot

Uldaman Farming Guide

The age old question: 'What's the best way to farm gold?' With Silithus open, there are lots of business ventures selling drops there for eager reputation-seekers, however we stumbled upon a very great place to farm gold. Unfortunately, only Rogues and perhaps Druids can farm it.

Uldaman.

There are several bosses, chests and other loot you can grab in
this instance. MMOEdge has a Dagger specced Rogue, Preparation, Cold Blood and Improved Backstab/Ambush as well as Improved Sap. It is a great build for farming because you have Preparation to kill your timers and Improved Sap to stay in Stealth. There are numerous bosses as mentioned, with varying degrees of difficulty. The beauty of Uldaman farming is that you can choose what bosses you want to tackle, and which you don't. This guide helps you with the ones that give you the most buck for your bang.

Preparations:

  1. Get the Atlas Mod. It gives
you a map of Uldaman in-game so you're never lost. If you don't care to add a mod, you can easily find one using Yahoo or Google.
  2. Use Crippling Poison. We
use Rank 1 as it is very cheap and still gets the job done. Using
Rank 2 seems to kill profit margins.
  3. Bring Blind Powder, Flash
Powder for Vanish, and if you are Rank 6 or higher, purchase Combat
Healing Potions from your faction's PvP hall.
  4. Try to use conjured mage food
instead of real food to save money, and bring heavy runecloth
    bandages.
  5. AutoBindOnPickup mod from
Cosmos helps loot all stuff off the monsters quickly without the
Binds when Picked Up dialog box popping up.
  6. Level 60. We haven't tested
this with anything lower but level 60 is a sure bet not to aggro
    anything in the dungeon.
  7. Enchanting. It's still
possible without enchanting, but you can score big money
disenchanting blue items and selling them in the Auction House
(Even level one enchanting can disenchant the stuff that drops.)
  8. The Defiler's Talisman (trinket) absorbs 400-600
physical damage. This is very useful with a very low timer so it can
help out if you need an extra edge against a boss. We use this
pretty liberally since the timer is low.

*NOTE: It is highly recommended to download Atlas mod so you can access an in-game map of the instance until you are familiar with it.
___________________________________________________________________________________

Objective 1: The Three Dwarves
(Atlas #1)
Easiest encounter in the game. We don't use any
timers for this. Not Cold Blood, not Evasion, nor Vanish. Walk to
their location and kill Baelog first, then Olaf, then Eric the Swift.
Don't even need a run-down of this since it's so easy.
However since we had above-average gear (nothing insane though), you
can blow an evasion or something if you have trouble, but it's pretty
easy. You can also just do runs for the Three Dwarves since Eric the
Swift drops Swiftness Potions 100% of the time. We did a few solo
runs just for the Dwarves because we needed Swiftness Potions for
Warsong Gulch.

*NOTE: Alliance players have the three Dwarves as Friendly NPC's,
so you guys sort-of miss out on their drops, but you still need to
get loot Baelog's Chest on the table.*

The Loot: http://www.thottbot.com/?n=5387
http://www.thottbot.com/?n=48663
http://www.thottbot.com/?n=5393

Lots of times you will get nothing but their usual junk, but we
have had some nice blue Bind on Equip's and Bind on Pickup's drop.
Loot Baelog's Chest on the table for Gni'Kiv Medallion
(you'll need this later). Read his book on the lore of how to summon
Ironaya, or just read on with the guide!

Objective 2: Revelosh (Atlas #3)
Another easy boss. Revelosh doesn't drop any great
items, but he does drop Staff of Tsol which combines with the Gni'Kiv
Medallion from Three Dwarves to summon Ironaya.

The Fight: He's got two adds – Stonevault
Rockchewer and Oracle. Also, some dinky Ambushers run in and out of
the room every 10 seconds so just time it right and you can pull
Revelosh to a corner and not aggro extra things (but the Ambushers
are non-elite and have very low health, so just burn ‘em down
in a few hits if you aggro one or two of them). Sap the Rockchewer,
and then start beating on Revelosh. A few seconds into the fight he
will start casting lightning. Kick him when that happens and then
pull him to a corner so you don't aggro more things. Oracle
will try to heal him at some point – either try to burn
Revelosh down before the heal lands or switch targets and Kick or
Gouge the Oracle and finish off Revelosh. Kill the Oracle quickly as
well, and then take down the Rockchewer as soon as he is out of Sap.

The Loot: http://www.thottbot.com/?n=5380

The Shaft of Tsol, which combined with the Gni'Kiv
Medallion is used in the Map Room to open the door and summon
Ironaya, is your main purpose with Revelosh. He's got an
extremely small chance to drop some really nice epic and blue BoEs,
but after months of farming we haven't seen anything good drop off
him (but you still need the Shaft from him).

Objective 3: Ironaya (Atlas #4)
Ironaya is a moderate boss in a room off of the Map Room . In
order to open her chamber, you have to kill Revelosh (Objective 2)
and loot the Shaft of Tsol as well as kill the Three Dwarves
(Objective 1) and loot the Medallion from Baelog's Chest. Once
you have both items, right click either of them to create the Staff
of Prehistoria.

Enter the Map Room east of Ironaya's chamber (East of the #4
labelled on Atlas Map)and you will find the Keystone. You can freely
stealth up to it and right click the Keystone. A fun event unfolds as
the staff shines a beam on the door which opens and Ironaya stomps
out. You may want to clear out a couple troggs before you summon her
to give you more room to fight, but if you're close enough to the
door when you attack Ironaya it isn't necessary.

The Fight: As soon as you stick the staff into the
keystone, haul butt up to the door. Stealth as soon as you can. You
can tab-target Ironaya even before the doors open. As soon as the
doors open try to target her ASAP and Cheap-shot her. Cheap-shot and
Kidney shot work, but Blind and Gouge she is immune to. When she's
moving again draw her back into her chamber where there's no chance
of adds. We usually hit Evasion early and use Cold Blood, Eviscerate,
and then next 5 combo points we Kidney shot and Bandage up. We finish
her off with Eviscerate again (use potions, Defiler's trinket
if necessary) and she goes down without too many problems.

The Loot: http://www.thottbot.com/?n=655442

Lots of blue BoP's that we usually disenchant. Fiery War Axe
(epic) has a chance to drop, and that thing can go for a lot on the
AH.

Objective 4: Chest #1/Annora Master
Enchanter
(Atlas #6)
There are two chests in Uldaman
that can spawn. This first chest is very easy to get to, and it's
a 100% spawn. Atlas map number six, or labeled as Master Enchanter
Annora – this spot is filled with little silithid buggers.
Fortunately, they're not elites. The main thing here is to pop
Evasion right at the start and make sure you're always
auto-attacking someone. Use right-click to change targets every time
you kill one of them, and only use 1 Sinister Strike per mob.
However, if your build allows you to kill them without evasion, then
just an extra timer you can use later.

Once all of the little buggers have died, there is a chest in a
crevice in the wall, and the Master Enchanter (friendly) comes out of
hiding. You also need lockpicking to open the chest.

The Loot: You will mostly get Bind on Equip green items,
sometimes blues, schematics/plans/recipes, some money and an
occasional bag. However, the occasional blue item or rare schematic
that sell for 50-150g on the AH make it very worth it to do this easy
encounter, as well as the greens that always sell for a couple of
gold.

Objective 5: Chest #2
(South-West Green Room of #7 On Atlas)
This chest is the room in
the middle of the instance. It is not a 100% spawn, so always check
if it is there before clearing the mobs in that room. If you look on
your Atlas Map #7, there is a green rectangle-ish room south-west
that is connected to the #7 room. This is where the chest potentially
spawns.

This chest is a bit tricky, but once mastered it's easy to
get to. There is a Stone Steward who patrols the room. He exits the
room at both ends, however he spends a much longer time at one end
than the other. When he is at the doorway of the west exit of the
room, distract him there so he spends a few more seconds staring into
open space before continuing to exit the room. As soon as you
distract him, start clearing the adds.

The Fight: There are six adds in total. Two casters called
Earthen Sculptors (they are white, easy to spot) and four melee
called Earthen Rocksmashers (black). As soon as you distract the big
Stone Steward, Ambush the white Sculptors (or any other kind of
damage, they have little health so Cheap Shot and Garrote are
somewhat useless). Take out the two Sculptors and then pull the rest
of the Rocksmashers into a corner of the room. Now when the Steward
walks by, he won't aggro you.

Take down the Rocksmashers one by one. Try not to burn Evasion,
but if you are having difficulty with this encounter and feel the
need to use it, use it right at the beginning when all four adds are
still alive. You will evade more attacks and make full use of
Evasion. Just spam Sinister Strike and Eviscerate and take them down
one by one. This chest is locked, so you need Lockpicking fairly high
(200's or so) to open it.

The Loot: Pretty much the same as the chest near the Master
Enchanter. Mostly green BoE's, occasional blues, recipes/plans and
sometimes bags.

Objective 6: Galgann Firehammer
(Atlas #Cool
Galgann is probably the toughest boss to farm in
Uldaman (with our Rogue, at least). He has two adds with him which
you need to Sap and Blind and then work on Galgann. We usually kill
him when we use Blind on the second add, and use Evasion + Cold Blood
on him, but we don't like wasting so many reagents and timers
on one boss, especially if he doesn't drop anything amazing.
However, with different builds and weapons, Sword/Mace Rogues may
find many fights harder or easier depending on how they do damage.

The Fight: As mentioned, Sap one and Blind the other. Get
to work on Galgann. He can't be Cheap-Shot or Kidney Shot; your
best chance is to open with Garrote or Ambush and spam SS until you
can do an Eviscerate. The key is to down him before the adds can
recover to hit you.

Galgann's
most common items are four BoP's, 2 green and 2 blue, including a
very nice gun for hunters. Has a chance to drop blue BoE's as well,
and a plethora of other green BoE's.

Objective 7: Grimlok (Atlas
#9)
Grimlok is a very easy boss encounter even though you may
first think otherwise. Use Atlas mod to find him, or refer to a
screenshot of the Atlas Map. Before you reach him, you must
take out three sets of guards. There is one Stonevault Brawler that
sits at the entry-way of Grimlok's little room. He will stand
at this doorway for a minute or so and then proceed to patrol to
Grimlok and back to his post very slowly. The best thing is just to
wait it out until he returns to his spot. After killing this first
guy, you have four mobs to go – 2 groups of two.

Sap one, eliminate the other. Kill the sapped one. Rinse and
repeat on the next pair. Once all the adds are gone, you are left
with Grimlok, his two Stonevault adds and the Basilisk.

The Fight: Sap the Brawler. You can choose to Blind the
Geomancer but if you have decent gear and are confident, just leave
him to attack (he doesn't do much damage). We use an Ambush on
Grimlok but you can Cheapshot him and Kidney Shot him. With our
Dagger Rogue, we Ambush, Sinister Strike a few times and Eviscerate
until he's dead. Loot his stuff and sprint + vanish out.
Usually you can heal up in the empty hallway before you stealth out
to the next objective. You *should* sprint out because the
crocodile/alligator moves fast and can (sometimes) hit you and screw
up your vanish, so gain some distance and hit your vanish.

Always something to disenchant, vendor or AH off this guy.

Now all that's left to do is disenchant all your blues (or vendor
them if you can't DE), vendor your grays, AH the greens and reap the
gold! And then of course, come back and do it all over again.

60g an hour (Warcraft mods)

Easy Gold Guide

This method of farming has netted us over 1000 gold in no time, allowing us to purchase anything we want. This guide requires you to be a class who can stealth and an enchanter (at least 125 skill level). Also you must be a high level capable of killing 40+ elites. If you cannot stealth, you can still farm like this but the time you spend killing the mobs between bosses can really shoot your gold per hour rate (Hunters may be able to feign death in, but we re unsure about this).

1) Free up 5 or 6 slots in your bags.
2) Fly to Theramore Isle and go south and enter Razorfen Downs.
3) Kill Glutton, drops Fleshhide Shoulders most of the time, disenchant.
4) Follow the path around and around until you get to Amnemnar the Coldbringer, kill him, and he sometimes drops two blues, disenchant them.
5) This step depends on your AoE capability. Mordresh Fire Eye has a lot of skellies around him that will attack you when you attack him. Druids will do this easily, but rogues may have a hard time (be creative on the ways to kill him).
6) Leave the instance and then reset. Do this a max number of five times an hour. After your farming session, go back to your nearest auction place.

When you disenchanted the blues you got Small Radiant Shards. These are a popular item that is always on demand. On our server, the price for a 4-stack is around 16-17g. We always 4 stack them (fiery enchant mats). We sell them for 15g, and say we get 16-20 shards a session, that is 4×15 = 60g!

Easy Cash for Mages (Level 60)

Location: Silithus.
Build: Preferably Frost.

Essence of Air Grinding
In the northwestern corner of Silithus, there are approximately 50-70 air elementals. They have a slim chance to drop Essence of Air (these baby's sell for 10-20g each on our server), but this slight probability is reduced if you're killing all 70 at once.

Let's get some dosh!
Start on the outskirt of the elemental spawn. Throw on Ice Barrier (it won't ever break, really) and gather one elemental by running into it. Cast Rank 1 Arcane Explosion and run to another elemental. For each mob that aggros you, cast Rank 1 Arcane Explosion once. This will make sure that they never de-aggro you and run back to their original spawn point. Repeat the process until every single air elemental is following you, or an amount that suits you.

Followed by:
Next, Frost Nova followed by Cone of Cold, then spam Arcane Explosion until they all die. They're a pain to loot sometimes since they're all clustered together, but by maneuvering your screen cam around, you can easily loot every single mob. Each pull takes next to no time to re spawn and you can repeat this again and again.

To conclude:
On average, we gathered about 15 Essences using this method, in roughly 50 minutes. That's 150g per. hour at least.
We recommend you have decent gear when attempting this as if you are fresh into level 60; you may experience difficulties.

As a warlock we found farming to be very easy but not this easy. Ok here is what you do pay a mage 4 g for food and water we normally get 90 of each. out side of Shatterath there is a lake on the left there are fish http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=18750 they drop motes of water like non other we spent about maybe 1 hour and farmed about 10 primal +1 blue and loads of greens if you are 70 this should be even more of a profit any ways the reason we recommend this spot is because we went too the elemental platue and honestly we got maybe 1 primal in a 20 minute spand if your looking for a good quick 100g too how ever long you farm there do it. The great thing about this spot as well there is a quest that you have too kill them and get some fallet so the respawn is no more than 2 mins for all of them.

Good luck with it
